Isn't this the way the took away Pazzini's goal against Holland? The linesman and referee both called it a goal, but the 4th official was the one who told the referee that it was a hand ball. How else could the 4th official see it besides a replay in the stadium?

don't know about pazzini's goal, but as for the headbutt, I think the ref made agood decision. zidane lost his mind which is unacceptable if you play a wc final (even more so if you already won one).
over here, at least the linesman must have seen it as it happened, and you don't want me to say it why he didn't make a damn signal.

Some french supporters are claiming that it was ball to hand (not that it would matter, in both cases the goal should have not stood). But how blind can you get. He actually moved his hand forward to control the ball knowing what he was doing. It wasnt even a reflex, it was blatant cheating.

Sick about last night.

Henry is a cheat. He lied in his interview saying he didn't mean the hand ball, the replay clearly shows he knew exactly what he was doing. He should receive a ban for bringing the game into disrepute.

Whoever commented earlier that Ireland are mediocre clearly didn't watch the match last night, they made France look very ordinary, a team composed of top class Champions League footballers. Sure Ireland might not have world class players but the more than make up for that with an incredible workrate and passion. They played like a team and played above their level. They are more than the sum of their parts, to call them mediocre is ridiculous, they were unbeaten in the group phase, 1 of only 5 teams and they had the World champions on the ropes twice.

Ireland should have won the match in 90 mins, we had 3 great chances to score. Over the 2 legs we were the better side. We created the best chances, just failed to take advantage of them.

The Irish players must be gutted, it took a lucky deflected goal and cheating to beat us.

Anyways Shaz they were saying this because Algerians in Sudan were outnumbering and beating the shit out of the Egyptians over there, they wanted to kill the Egyptians in Sudan and i can say that this isnt a football situation anymore, its a political one and we have to take a stand over shit like this.
