Uh, I'd certainly play Pauleta and Trezegol with those odds! Groups D and G are that weak. If David Villa is a starter, he'd be an excellent choice also!

Who will be the world champions? - Brasil,of course. This should be very interesting WC becouse there are many good/great teams. This are my favourites:
1.Brasil
2.Argentina
3.Spain
4.England (very unlucky Rooney won't play)
5.Italy

Personally I would like to win Serbia, but it is imposible I think.

I didn't understood, these are your favourites teams or these are the teams that you think that can win the World Cup?

If it's the second choice than, I don't think either Spain or England can win the World Cup, I believe that Holland and Germany have better chances of winning the World Cup than Spain or England.

Just look at the players Spain has got, they have great players for every position.England also, they got only one weak position and that is the goalkeeper.About Holland and Germany, they have always been one of the favourites. But Germany has weak team now,and Holland has to many youngsters, they don't have the experience to win the WC.

I agree that both Spain (mostly Spain) and England have good players, but I have doubts about how will Spain perform in the World Cup, I mean, they always get there but they come out quickly.

England's problem, in my opinion is the coach, I don't think that Eriksson is able to "control" the English players and without control there's nothing.

About Holland, I know that there's "revolution" on the team, but look at their qualification it was (if not mistaken) one of the best in the European Zone, plus they have Makaay and Van Nistelrooy.

Germany plays at home, they have a reasonable team and they are eager to do well, although now that I think more deeply in it I don't think Klinsmann to be a great coach and if Germany succeeds in the World Cup it will mostly because they play at home.

OK,jokes aside, whoever we tip to win, probably Brasil (maybe Argentina) will win the WC.They got the strongest squads in every position.

About Holland you are right.Maybe they are not experienced, but they are all talented and most of them proved players.

But anyway,I can't agree with you about Germany. They have advantage becouse they play at home, but I don't think they posses enough quality to win the WC.

Who knows, the ball is round, anything can happen. :)

Italy look a good bet at the moment. They are priced at 7-1 with paddypower but i think you can get better prices elsewhere. Its gotta be worth a tenner cos Italy is practically guaranteed to get to semi-final and after that anything could happen. If Italy beats the aussies then they play either switzerland or ukraine in the QF. people should have a little flutter on this or back 'em each way
