It'll be the same thing when we decide to sell Gabigol.

sure, but for peanuts... 400k + 15% of a future sale from samp to another club. We bought him for around 15-17 mln euros (there were some bonus included, so i can't tell exactly), that makes it less than 3 mln euros in total fro barcelona.

I think you are misunderstanding what I said. Selling Icardi was a mistake because Barca took that decision. Losing Pique, Fabregas, Bellerin wasn't a mistake because they were not in a position to take decision.

They have Messi, Neymar and Suarez I don't think they miss Icardi.

I think Inter is the king of losing stars since I remember and Inter management has been the worst one in the world.
Look at the list its shameful.
I hope we don't make a mistake like that again although it seems almost impossible :D

We lost many talents because we trusted the coach or because we didn't believe in the talent.

We lost Pirlo because Lippi did not want to play him.
We lost Coutinho because Ranieri did not want to use him and we loaned him out. Then we sold him soon after he returned because we didn't see much progress and his game did not translate well in Serie A.
We lost Beppe Signori because we thought that he was too weak and small to play as a forward in Serie A
We lost Kovacic because we didn't want to build our midfield around him and he was not appreciated by the coaches we had.

I don't think we lost that many great players at a young age, but Pirlo (and Seedorf) hurt the most due to being outright stupid decision(s) and they've gone to Milan and were the building block of their 2000s dominant era in a time when they had kinda disappeared from contention and these two moves helped make them Serie A and Champions League contenders.

Ah yes, Roberto Carlos was an obvious one that the coach sent the other way. He was already 23 though so I'm not sure where the cut off line is for "young player". Sure is young, but 23 is usually the age of established starters, not prospects. All the others I mentioned left before they turned 22 iirc.

There's also Balotelli but that kid was bat shit crazy.
