Yann Bisseck

Man, what a find. He probably added 10/15m to his asking price last night.

This man should be priceless to us with Acerbi and De Vrij aging out of the squad. I understand he is best when having freedom to move forward but under Inzaghi the team is damn near positionless. I'd love to have him be our CCB of the future.

Lost his man during a Udinese build up that eventually lead to their first goal. Played decent after that until the nervy end which he gave up a bad pass that led to another goal. Still learning but come on that bad pass and poor defending late shouldn't be happening. One highlight was when Bisseck went mano mano with Lucca onetime and held is own.

I like him as a player, but it's clear he's still got to improve his man marking.

He's great at everything except the actual defending part. It's like someone put a wingback in Lukaku's body.

Good, then an aggressive mistake. When he's in the offensive role wished he still drive forward for a cross or get a corner. Defensively still needs work, but the goal conceded by his blocked clearance was his fault but the remaining defense was terrible as well. The Inzagni system is so dynamic especially with that position it's going to take time. Chin up Yann!

I think he can learn how to react in situations like that, but overall he was ok.
Lately, we are immediately punished for every mistake, which we commit. I think this is just a period, which will be overcome at the end. The most important thing is that we keep collecting points regardless.

Actually I think he had some improvements in his biggest weakness, focusing in the game.
His mistake was more of an easy problem to fix, he just have to learn to pick the safer options in defensive actions, like tracking back between 2 vs 1 situations or better calculations if he can get the ball if he is going for the ball, which is it not matching this team style, so maybe be coherent with the team too.

The mistake itself wasn't as bad as it seem even it led straight to a goal, cause he also tried to foul in case he couldn't get the ball; but he failed to make sure the ball cannot get past him for advantage.

With that all said, he can and should still improve from that.

This is basically what you get when you play younger players, there are mistakes because of the lack of experience. We just need to eat those mistakes if we wanna go with younger players.

This is basically what you get when you play younger players, there are mistakes because of the lack of experience. We just need to eat those mistakes if we wanna go with younger players.

He did but acerbi put him in a shit position.....Initially he had to clear the ball which he tried but failed and then he had to try and go for the tackle (i dont think he could have kept up with zpata at that point) he did and he failed.

I guess what i wanted to say this was not a mistake of horrible incompetence or of making ridiculous mistakes. Yes it s on him but it can happen especially for young players.

I d argue that the fickleness compounds the problem.. Good game he s already WC Bad game he s a shit player we should have sold in the summer...
and yes that very argument was made in the match thread....

It s like a big junk of the forum (me included) believed for some time that murillo and JJ would become WC... Then we decided that they both are shit and both of them had quite decent careers after that.

Fair enough and i kind of agree since it did not get called as a foul i d argue that Acerbi should not have been such an easz push over....
Anyways it was that header and the falling of Acerbi which put Yann in a shitty situation and lead to themistaes...

Position looks more exposed now because Acerbi has declined. It's a collective problem. That's why it isn't solved simply by benching Pavard or Bisseck.
