He’s a big game player I’ll give him that. He excels vs the athletic/skilled players top teams tend to have more than the intellectual/technical players. Struggles with marking but he’s so physically gifted he’s done well. I want to keep him. Given a run of games to build confidence and experience he’ll mark much better. This is a player who much like Benji was a late bloomer but he’s got potential to be a rock here for the next five plus years. Should be untouchable now that we aren’t under Suning and hemorrhaging funds.

Why on earth does a team like West ham think they even have the slightest chance of getting a player from us who is not unwanted here?
Also 55 to 60 seems fair but i d still rather keep him especially seeing that acerbi and de vrij mights still be in the squad next seaon... I d rather not get rid of the youngest of our capable CBs...
That being said if we get those 55 to 60 i wont be complaining...
Anyways seeing as we dont need plusvalenza and him being one of our cheapest CBs i d argue we are in no rush to get rid of him.

Exactly how I feel. Great young player with big upside, but he has his price and it’s about exactly the one we’re supposedly asking for.

We do also have to consider we can get to reliably replace him, who isn’t dinosaur age.

Really dude has had way more good than bad games for us is still rather young and rather cheap on our books. On top of that we have 0 need for plusvalenza this season and already need a new LCB and CCB so i really dont think it would make any sense for us...

Unless an insane offer comes in i d not sell him partially also cause i dont see his value just dropping drastically next season.

If we needed money I’d get selling him but he fits Oaktrees policy and basically will be a starter for us within the next 1-2 years. I don’t see any reason to sell him.
