Yeah REALISTIC as in no Messi, Ronaldo, Pogba etc. in the same Inter squad, because well it's unrealistic. The point of the thread is what team we would REALISTIC like to see & not who Mancini would pick. God am I'm really having to explain this

And when they've left they haven't exactly impressed in their new surroundings. I wonder how many of our players would be playing for a top 4 team in England, Germany or Spain (or Italy for that matter). Handanovic and maybe Miranda? That's it.

So either we are extremely poor in choosing players for our 3rd place endeavours, or good players turn sour when they wear our shirt.

most of the players we've signed since 2011 have been mediocre, so i think the first is the biggest problem. we've also signed lots of players that don't work well together. the second is also true for a lot of young players that have been mishandled and older players that leave us on the decline.

murillo, kdog, icardi, jovetic/ljajic would play ahead of roncaglia, vecino, kalinic, and ilicic at fiorentina. funny how our players in that list costed us 70 mill more than fio's players. one of the biggest problems at inter by far has been cohesion. a lot of our players may not be good enough to guarantee CL qualification, but our gameplay has always been underperforming because of poor coaching. with the faith we've given mancini, practically any other decent coach would've built a consistent side with a credible top 3 challenge.

If we reach C.L. we can buy those no problem if we reach E.L. then I dunno how we will manage to sign them...Sacrificing current players for new ones won't make us improve at all...I will blame Mancini if we fail to get to C.L and he should be fired...cuz we ain't playing well anyway with this mf-less squad.
I mean... Which big club has so little mf options as we do...2 Dm's who are mediocre, 2CM's who are still young and a kid who gets no chances...

This is pretty realistic and good line-up. But, as far as i know Banega and Soriano aren't very good defensively. If we sell Medel (10), Brozo (25)and let say Santon (8) - we will got approximately 43 mln income. Biglia (25), Soriano (15) and Banega for free = 40. In that case midfield could be something like:

Biglia (melo)
Banega/Soriano ---Kdog.​

This one is defensively stable enough but in same time is good also in creative prospect.
With these players we can change easily to diamond as well, if you put let say Soriano ( or Banega) as AC

If our management want to renew Nagatomo's contract, we can offload Santon ( cuz his market value is probably sightly bigger than DD), JJ, Rannochia and Dodo in the summer. For fullbacks we'll have Telles, Bruno Peres and substitutes - Nagatomi and DD. In that case, we gonna need one ( or two) back up CBs - maybe Roladno for cheap and somebody else. I don't know how is Andreolli's situation? Is it possible to call him back?
For attack Icardi, Ljajic, Eder, Peresic and one more will be more than enough. We may sell bibiani somewhere for 3-5 mln. Palacio's contract shoulnd't have been renewed, but we did it, so i don't know what will be his role next year. If it's possible to sell him in the summer somewhere in China or Argentina for 2-3 mln will e perfect. If Jovetic doesn't show any signs of improving ( particulary his work with his teammates, cuz there is no doubt in his individual characteristics) it's better to sent him out and save 15 mln.
