Looking closely to each position & the corresponding sub, there is no player whom play "not in his best position". Wingbacks are really wingbacks. Side-centerbacks are really defensive-minded fullbacks etc.

I like that approach tbh. No half-ass solution.

Quite possible. Only Džeko won't be here. And to add Ranocchia as 24th and Gagliardini/Vecino as 25th player.

Realistically I would be fine with us not buying Kante, keeping Brozo and signing someone like Locatelli. That way we would at least have two legitimate options for that position and we aren’t beholden to Brozo’s mood swings.

If we could add someone like Gags, Godin or Vecino to that deal then it would be a homerun.

The crazy thing is I think Kolarov will be fundamental to our play if yesterday is anything to go by. Those long passes from the back are crucial, will obviously depend on how reliable he can be defensively but I think our best back 3 could be Kolarov-De Vrij-Bastoni which is annoying cos they can’t play together ffs

I think Vidal and a 4th striker are going to be the last signings this summer. I don't expect a change with Brozovic or another left winger. Teams with more money than us are going to be totally calm this market and we already made a big purchase with Hakimi.

It's possibility but it also depends on Eriksen and how more adjusted towards italian football he will be. Some promissing signs in that friendly, but it's only a friendly. He also has to, really has to add those assists and goals from AM. It's a team sport but a good player there has to add those over the course of the season.

I think with Brozo staying we could play with 352 and with 3412 depending on opposition. Eriksen with 3412 and Brozo with 352. I don't think we will see both together on the field tbh.

We also don't know about Darmian. It was speculated he is brought for that LCB position, not a wing. A few unknowns, but the way it looks now it's:

Brozovic is that odd one that adds to multiple configurations in which we could play.

Pinamonti will not be able to do what Lukaku does for us though. Dzeko would be great there as a backup. Many people were against this last season (too much money and all that), but now I think they know it was actually a great idea at the time. Too bad roma played hardball.

Can't see unfortunately that Raja wili play for Inter again after arrival of Vidal, and Gagliardini is still important for Conte and there is no news for Vecino departure especially now after recovering from injury.

Young will definitely be on the left side competing with either Perišić or Palmieri.

Darmian or D'Ambrosio will be Hakimi's back up.
