No I don’t, he either leaves after contract termination or he stays as a 5th forward in this scenario. Like you said this is a best case scenario, I’d prefer Dzeko as a 5th forward compared to Caicedo or a primavera player.

I still think this is realistic though because of the back up players we have. No real expenditures for back up CBs and we keep Gagliardini as 5th midfield option. Agoume comes back to hopefully earn a homegrown player status and essentially replace Vecino in the squad.

The problem is that if we release Dzeko we lose something like 9m.

At the same time, you team has no Sanchez. That's another 4m down the drain.

With 13m spent just to clear two roster spots, I find it improbable to sign someone like Dybala on top of Bremer, Frattesi and Scamacca. Your scenario is only feasible if neither Barella, Martinez or Skriniar are sold by Marotta.

At the same time, you have Perisic staying, when even Brozovic who was a sure thing remains at risk as we speak although odds say he'll sign. Perisic staying with our terms (~3.5m net I suppose), on top of Handanovic staying with our terms (~1.5m net) looks unlikely unless Zhang adds funds to increase share capital.


At best given the constraints we're getting Scamacca, Frattesi and Bremer along with some roster fillers like Luiz Felipe, Lucas Torreira, Andrea Cambiaso and some cheap Caicedo replacement that everyone would hate seeing arrive. And Agoume returning probably unless a bigger French club wants to give us 8 digits.

The best we can hope for is that Inter will sign Scamacca, Bremer & Frattesi, and perhaps recall Vanhuesden. And lose De Vrij, Vecino, Perisic, Kolarov, Vidal and perhaps Sanchez if there are any takers.

Its not really an improvement, but we get younger and possibly lower wage bill. Personally I would prefer if Inter sold Correa and kept Sanchez. Also try to keep Perisic and let Dimarco go.

One of Ranocchia and D'Ambrosio are leaving possibly. Replacement could be Acerbi or Vanheusden respectively. I won't discount a chance for Luiz Felipe. I wish we'd consider Milenkovic if the 15m clause is true. Luiz Felipe is still an option as long as he doesn't commit elsewhere. Ginter is a remote chance as things stand.
Can't tell who's the favorite to leave but I think we need both of them around. If we can arrange a salary deduction it'd be great.

Handanovic staying is still uncertain. Not sure if we're going for a backup if he leaves or if Radu stays. Radu seems to want to leave now because he expected to play in the cup games. Maybe we use him for Bremer or for Scamacca deals. Which means we'll need a backup and I'm afraid that's going to be someone like Strakosha, but I'd prefer someone like Sirigu or Sepe.

Dumfries probably leaves if we receive an offer. I suspect that Manuel Lazzari would be the primary target.
Perisic staying or leaving may be a catalyst here. If he stays, I think Dumfries is shopped out (there's some interest from big clubs apparently). If Atletico sticks with Simeone I think he may take the challenge. And the money. Not sure if Manchester United is onto him, I think Ragnick rates him.

De Vrij doesn't want to leave but we want to sell him.
Skriniar needs to sign a new deal ASAP. Brozovic will.
Bastoni is not moving.
Makes no sense to sell Darmian even if there's a minor offer, so I guess he'll stick around.

Scamacca is very possible and the interest is mostly from Serie A at the moment after he rejected Tottenham and Arsenal in the winter (Sassuolo also rejected)
I'd give us 40% likelihood of getting Bremer. No chance he staying at Torino unless it's under some loanback deal. Bayern, Juventus, Napoli and a few others are after him, but I'd consider us favorites because we acted first.
Frattesi will be tricky. We're definitely going for someone. I was hoping for Fabian Ruiz but it's unlikely. Koopmeiners, Freuler or even Kessie are potential targets here.
Hakan probably stays but we'll receive offers and Marotta will definitely entertain them. Big salary, total plusvalenza and a replaceable player, ticks all the boxes.

The Dzeko and Sanchez situation will be tricky. Very unclear how we act, but I think we'll want to get rid of both and succeed only with one of them. Vidal on the other hand, even with a 3rd year automatic option, is definitely out. Vecino is also out. Sensi and Gagliardini, I am assuming one of them may be sold if there's an offer but will there be one?

I don't see Dybala being an option, but (unfortunately) we may listen to the cries of Lukaku and do something stupid.

Maybe Raspadori becomes an option if we sell Lautaro or even Barella. Probably anything around 80m or more will be enough for Marotta to try and push them out.

If De Vrij is being sold, it would make sense to extend Ranocchia & D'Ambrosio for another year. They work fine as back ups for CCB & RCB. We already have to replace De Vrij (hopefully with Bremer) and Kolarov.

You put here a realistic squad, supossely we need to raise those 60m and also trimm the salary envelope with 10-15%. If we "need " to sell one of our CB to raise those money, I will sell Skrniar and not Bastoni. Bremer would be his natural successor and could be better (only my opinion). Bremer seems to me more mobile. In this case why not keep SdV. He had a bad year, but also last year he was arguably the best defender in Serie A. He could rebound and have a much better next year. A trio of Bremer- SdV-Bastoni would still be the best defense in Serie A. DD, Zinho and diMarco would be substitute. It is not good but hopefully all the starters will be relative healthy.

We have the 3 starters in midfield. Gags could be the 6th midfielder. Suppose we bring Asllani to grow him to take slowly the duties of Brozo. We need another adequate midfielder to rotate the starters. Nandez? Sensi? Thorsby? other?. Let Perisic, Vidal and Vecino leave.
Dumfries- Barella - Brozo- Calha - Gosens with: Darmain, Asslani, Gags, new midfielder, diMarco would be the reserves. The starters would be good, the reserves not so optimal.

In attack is another big question. Could Dybala - Lautaro be a successful partnership. I don't know. Both are more SS. And rumous claim we are after a physical player, a tru number 9. Only grandpa Dzeko fill that bill. And he is washed-up. Maybe we forget about Dybala and bring someone like Giovanni Simeone (I know, not our wet dream, but we have no money). Lautaro- Simeone with Correa-Dzeko subs.
