It's prety solid and realistic formation for next season even I would excpect more than a 5th place. That team is CL material, especialy under serious coach. Much will depend on a reactions of new players.

If the team gels into Mazzarri's philosophy and key players don't get injured, then we could. However, lets not underestimate what our competition is doing... Juve, Milan, Napoli, Lazio, Roma, & Fiorentina are all strengthening. It won't be an easy ride to a CL spot next season.

I always thought a strong, young player that will be willing to stay back as a DM would save us a lot of trouble. Too many times we got passed through like we are weak children. That's why I'm screaming for a Wanyama type or Kondogbia

without a true treq or playmaker it would be best to play palacio deeper behind icardi, IMO.

It is extremely desirable if you finished 9th last season and wish to do better.

I don't want Basta prefer Zuniga or Isla or both. Zuniga knows how to play both sides. I think Rano is gone if we get Drago as how many people said Campagnaro is here to start. Naga to me is > Pereira and he prob will go if we can break even on him.

5 out of 11 are new. I think we had the same type of revolution last season just with inferior players. My biggest concern is we get rid of Chivu and Stank. That we end the loans of Rocchi(stop bringing in 32+ year olds on loan !!!),Gargano,Silvestre(why not just buy someone if you do a loan with a purchase guarantee), Mudi, Carrizo(what was the point of bringing him on a 6 month loan? dude has always been crap. Did we not have enough Argies on our team for their cookouts?) Next season Zanetti/Milito/Cambi/Samuel retire here or get sent back to Argentina. O and give our youth a FING CHANCE !!!
