Holy, got some multilinguals here.

I learnt Japanese for 2 years, but only able to pronounce individual 'letters' - hiragana/katakana, can't have any decent conversation whatsoever, maybe 'hi' and 'bye' at best.

Learnt it for reading the players' name in Winning Eleven (PES) back in 1998, dropped it ever since they started making PES in English (it was not until like 2004 I could obtain it in my country). Oh, and also for when Final Fantasy used to release their English versions of their games like a year late, had to learn it to read the menu and character names.

So can't really blame Nagatomo for not speaking Italian fluently, it's difficult to learn other languages.

French - 8 years (Elementary School + 1 year as a private student in the French College here in Sofia)
Russian - 7 years (Elementary School)
German - 2 years (High School)
English - 8 years (Since I was 5 at some courses for a couple of years and then at High School)

Well, that's a shame, all of them were translated in english, ahah.

That gap used to be much larger, between the Japanese and the English versions.

Nowadays they are basically released roughly the same time, so it matters no more.

On Nagatomo, pretty good defensively today, running up and down on the left flank and made some crucial tackles while covering for our defense in counter. Midfield link up and deliveries were his usual standards, but made up for it with his tenacity.

I did something like this for pokemon yellow when I was just a wee lad. Now it's just engine blocks...

Yuto did well against juve, but I think he struggles with offensively capable wide players and doesn't block\stop crosses very well. But it's good to see him play at a decent level again, I can't wait to see him score another header!!!

lol true, i have interista albanian friend, he could speak albanian, macedonian, turkish, english and read/write and speak broken french, also by the time Kasandra episode finale aired, that mofo was like "que pasa ese?", all this before hitting 16/17.

you might know him, i mean how much albanians are interistas in macedonia after all lol
