He had some great games, especially against Cuadrado in every game he faced him. he also had decent amount of assists, would have had much more if our forwards werent as wasteful back then. IMO he was never meant to be a starter nor was good enough, but would have been great backup for both LB and RB.

Genoa are reportedly in talks with former Inter full-back Yuto Nagatomo after his Olympique Marseille contract expired.

The Japan international will turn 35 next month and is no stranger to Serie A, having played for Cesena and then Inter.

He moved to Galatasaray in 2018, then spent two seasons in Marseille before becoming a free agent.

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, Genoa are currently in negotiations with Nagatomo and his entourage to engineer a Serie A comeback.

He made 29 competitive appearances for Olympique Marseille last season.

Although he plays primarily as a left-back, Nagatomo can also work on the right or in a more advanced wing-back role.

The former Inter man put together 186 Serie A appearances during his career, contributing nine goals and 15 assists.
