Ibra part of new-look Napoli?

I guess we`ll soon find out.

Zlatan was smart enough to market himself in a certain way, especially during his US spell. Good for him, but that now belongs to Hollywood rather than performances on pitch [ADL comes into mind].

Point is, there is no point for us to take Ibra - we`ve cleared the dressing room air and the squad harmony seems to pay off. Besides, we already have Lautaro and Lukaku performing well, don`t fix what`s not broken. I believe there are very few Inter supporters that would want Ibra back at this point.

Lol what kind of revolution is that? Edy Reja/Gattuso replacing Ancelotti? Torreira/Kessie replacing Allan?

Reports: Zlatan returns to Milan

Multiple reports in Italy claim that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has come to an agreement with Milan about a return to San Siro, ready to sign a six-month deal worth €3.5m.

La Gazetta dello Sport writes that Ibrahimovic will arrive after New Year’s and within the next 15 days he will be ready to play for the Rossoneri.

After a lot of speculation regarding the future of the Swedish superstar, Milan will allegedly have their former talisman back in their squad for the match against Sampdoria.

The newspaper has claimed that the 38-year-old will sign a six-month deal worth €3.5m plus bonuses and most likely remain at the club for another year.

We still have to wait for the confirmation, but also the Corriere dello Sport writes that the former Sweden international has an option to extend his contract until 2021 in Milan.

The game against SPAL in the Coppa Italia on January 15 has been mentioned as a possible date for Zlatan’s return in the Rossoneri shirt.

Zlatan played 85 matches during his last stint at Milan, scoring 56 times in the process. He was a key member in the squad that won them their last Scudetto under Massimiliano Allegri in 2010-11.

» Expensive fireworks for Milan, but it does not bother me. Curious to see how will elder Zlatan do now in Serie A, I expect him to still dominate team with a weak defence.

They should be focusing on building foundations to go forwards not expensive band aids. The thing with inter is that no matter how badly things go we have bastoni skriniar Martinez sensi barella etc

They risk ending up their campaign outside of Europe, so they hope to quick-fix this by inserting personal clauses into Zlatan`s contract, firing milan up.

Zlatan wanted an 18 month contract, so this became subject to certain conditions. The 6 month contract with an automatic renewal if Zlatan meets his personal targets (certain number of goals/assists). No Champions League clause. :work:

As much as i want him to rot in milan merda, i have a feeling he will somehow salvage whatever is left in their misarable season. As old as he is, he will still be able to bully some lesser teams.

Lol, the last thing they need now is another youngster. They have bunch of them: Donnarumma, Romagnoli, Leao, Theo, Paqueta, Bennaccer, etc.. They are missing an experienced leader who can help the team both on and off the field. Not to mention they are getting Ibra of all people, a player known for his strong personality.

Also, it’s not like there are any more options, they too deep in a shithole, this is the best they can do.

Nope.

Prime Cristiano in a heavyweight Juventus team that outclassed everything (players and coaches) and everyone, barely made a difference with all the freedom he had, scoring "21" goals, many of which were penalties.

This Zlatan, in a Milan side that has no clue of direction or anything, will maybe score couple of penalties and 2/3 goals from the game.

This is not MLS or peasent french league. This is serie A.

He is not playing in a OP side, he is playing for Milan.

This move is probably one of the biggest setbacks for Milan.

Don't mistaken Zlatan for his media personality. In a room of veteran players he was never a leader, he was the cocky cool friend. He adds nothing to Milan.

Fail.

i feel like many people who return to AC have failed to capture the magic

Look at Kaka, Balotelli, Beckham, Shevchenko as examples

Yeah, this is Serie A ... In this awesome league a 36yo at Sampdoria and a 38yo (who played in Dubai) at Hellas became capocannoniere in the last years and the most successful goal scorer these years is a guy from Lazio who flopped in Germany and Spain.

So what you're saying is that I am wrong to say that french league and MLS (especially MLS) are way way easier than our - lol our- than serie a? And that my example of Cristiano is garbage?

Ok. I think you're dead wrong, but time will tell.

Of course Serie A is harder than MLS and the French league. It was the "sound" of your post with what I don't content. In the last years so many old farts shined in this league that I wonder why Ibrahimovic shouldn't be able to make a difference.
