Sneijder was best in the world 2010, tell me when Ibra has been best in the world. I don't even think this should be a topic that is discuss worthy. It should be obvious

Sneijder has an absolutely fantastic season but Messi was the best player in the world at the time. I think Ibra in 2008 had a genuine claim but unfortunately he didn’t turn up when it mattered the most

Agreed. He was something else. I was always bragging to my friends etc about how good he was then we'd play in Europe against Liverpool and united and he was awful. He was supposed to lead our attack but it felt like he always disappeared in those big games.

Yep it’s such a weird case as well because people associate him mostly with PSG and think that was the best Ibra. We had the best Ibra by ( Milan 2012 was close) but our Ibra was literally unplayable. Just a damn shame he didn’t turn up when it mattered the most

The damn shame was that Mancini was clueless and we had two of Zlatan's best years in 2 seasons of transition (2007-8 and 2008-9).

Versus Manchester United, Zlatan was not underwhelming, the rest of the team was. I expected more from Maicon, Cambiasso, Vieira and Cordoba for example. We also fielded Santon as an experiment, it wasn't really the best of times for us.

Being an experiment... The kid was paying on the right wing prior to that.

Wtf did Messi do 09/10? Everyone watching football know Sneijder got robbed that year from that shit prize gala.

Ibra has never got even close to the amount of votes Sneijder got on that shit gala.

Couldn’t give a fuck about votes. It’s all political bullshit, wtf do you mean what did Messi do? To me it’s an individual award and not a “how many trophies did I win that year award”. Messi individually was the best player in the world in 2010

Score about 50 goals and provide 20 assists

09/10 he did 47 goals and 12 assist. How did you manage to round up 12 assist to 20?

Did those 47 goals and 12 assist win him anything?

Yeah 47 goals and 12 assists compared to Sneijder’s 13 goals and 15 assists. Like I told you I don’t give a flying fuck about trophies, it’s an individual trophy but yes Messi still won the league that year.

"Juventus' Scudetti? Buffon is right to demand them back and I will do the same," Ibrahimovic told GQ magazine.

Wouldn't be surprised if he said one thing once and another the next time. The guy does talk a lot of nonsense all the time.

Ibrahimovic: 'Failure is part of success' :proud:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic explains why he became a guest host at the Sanremo Music Festival.

The Milan striker caused a great deal of controversy for his decision to spend the week guest-hosting at the festival during the season, while others wondered why he felt the need to take the role at all.

He had been playing up to his ‘arrogant bad guy’ persona throughout the week, joking that it was his festival and took control of it, but when he gave this monologue on the final night, it was hailed as a wonderful message.

“Everyone knew Zlatan before this festival, so why did Zlatan come here? Because he likes challenges, adrenaline. If you don’t challenge yourself, you cannot win.

“I played 945 games in my career, and I won many of them, but not all. I won 11 titles, but I also lost a few. I won many trophies, but I also lost some.

“I am Zlatan even without winning every game. I am Zlatan when I win and when I lose. I scored many goals, but I also missed a few. Very few.

Failure is not the opposite of success, it is part of success. Doing nothing is the biggest failure of all.

If Zlatan can make a mistake, so can you
, the important thing is to make a difference every day: effort, dedication, perseverance, concentration.

I am at this festival to tell all of you that in your own small way, you can be Zlatan. Thank you to Italy, my second home.”

Unlike Juventini, Zlatan knows how to count. Out of all the quotes about Juventus number of Scudetti my favorite one always was the one of Allegri when he was still at Milan:

"Juventus' Scudetti? They have 31; everybody is wrong, because you should also count the Serie B title,"
