The guy even urged Milanisti to insult Hakan in last season scudetto celebrations. It's comical to even argue if Zlatan should be in LGI. One of the most important traits imo for an Inter player to be in LGI section is respect to the club and Ibra showed none. Ever since he left in 2009 he only insults the club and its fans.

I think all of us agree about that.

So what? Some people keep trying until they succeed, some people give up and get away. And hence, some are LGI and some are former.

The fact that Ibra was our best player during that era has no bearing on this LGI discussion. It's also the fact that Ibra didn't do anything legendary during that era. Had we not had him, we would probably have some one else, probably not as good, but the results would have been the same.

Well I'm just glad I got somebody to admit that overall that team wasn't really CL worthy at the time

Depends on what you mean by CL worthy, I certainly believe we were much better than all those back to back round 16 exits.

Yeah but not mentally. Some people blame Ibra too much on our exits, when it was clearly that Mancini putting 8 workers on the pitch isn't really equal to good football

Think us winning the CL made him so salty about us, don't think he blasted Rube or Barcelona half as much as he tried to shame us.

Good riddance, Cunt

I stopped investing so much energy and emotions on what footballers say. Even if I get triggered at the time I let it go after a while. Zlatan sure loves to say controversial things to get people triggered, but I don't waste so much anger on it.

Great player and one of the last true entertainers in football. I get why some of you dislike him and that's fair.

The poor track in CL is really a silly argument about his skill or quality as a striker, he just had some of the worst luck out there, always missing greatness narrowly. I'm sure it ate him up inside throughout his career. And like I wrote once before in this thread, we were lucky to have him in his prime. Can't fault the guy for favoring Milan over us, and I also can't fault him for using Hakan's departure to fuel his squad, especially after seeing how we treat some of our own departing players.

Didn't he say when leaving Inter "Now I don't have to do everything in my team" and Muntari answered "You scored because we were running for you".

In France, PSG fans are salty about his comments that shits on the club and his incapacity to lead them to win the CL.

Cambiasso, Dejan, even Zanetti had bad games and choked sometimes, but they loved Inter and to me, before your football level, this is the first requirement to be in LGI.

Again, I never said they didn't deserve LGI. And agreed, being in love with Inter is a big requirement.

He was our best player in years we won 3 scudetto. So he'll be definitely LGI if he died or retired in 2009. We know what happened after that. Great satisfaction is that he retires after we fucked his belowed club in semifinal of CL. Fuck that piece of shit.

Imagine if he continues roasting Inter as a pundit or some TV personality

Was it ever disputed that Mancio couldn't do it in CL with Inter? When was it more about Ibra choking in CL with us? If anything Mancio made us over reliant on Ibra and that's not how you have success in the CL. We were so reliant on him that we almost choked the 2008 Scudetto to Roma and the guy saved us vs Parma in the last round.

Tl;dr Mancio could do better with the squad at his disposal in Europe, and even in the league (2007-2008).

Ibra was the biggest player in Serie A with us. Absolute boss. But the guy started throwing shit at us after the 2009/2010 season, it was a humiliation for him. Came to Milan , obv you will fucking win a scudetto when you are facing Benitez lol.

Its funny seeing milanisti crying after his retirement. The red carpet, 'Godbye'. It was cringe. I get he deserves a nice send off, but they should have done it to Maldini. Now that is a player you send to retirement with a bang. Even Maldini yesterday, he had a face like he knew and thought " they didnt do this for me, fans even booed him off stage"

Ibra couldnt even win a UCL in his 22 career years playing for absolute stacked teams and brilliant coaches.

I don't wanna even imagine the scenes when Hakan wins it on saturday. There will be some saucy banners for Ibra 100%
