And in true to Zlatan fashion, things get better the moment they get away from him.

Just like the clubs who won CL right after he left. Hakan is better than he's ever been when he's no long around. Hakan should really thank him tbh.
Hakan to score and celebrate with a personnalized message for Big Nose tonight.

We had actually considered Hakan even before Eriksen tragedy. Marotta had offered Hakan to Conte as a midfield reinforcement but the coach thought he didn't fit his style.
Allright. If you really believe this then there's nothing I can say ^^ Getting a 5.9/year creative midfielder when you have Eriksen fully fit, doesn't really make sense imo but oh well.
Words mean more than what they seem, ur English looks good but he was saying that a player had to almost die for him to even be considered by ANY club. Which also isnt accurate since only Hakan and his agent knew which clubs made serious offers, and he is implying that he is that trash of a player he had no offers.

No player is waiting for another player to die to move to their club, he didn't benefit from anything. Also there were talks about him moving here even with Eriksen as a starter, so this whole quote had no factual basis whatsoever, so ur either biased or u didnt see the intent behind his quote.

Also he is just not saying it as a fact, the way he said it in the quote implies that he is trashing the player, not just stating facts, football players / celebrities dont just spew out facts, thats not what they do, that what Journalists should do but a lot of them cant do that either.
How am I biased when you're the one interpreting intent based on a written quote? 😅 Besides your two first paragraphs is just you twisting Ibra's words.

I will agree these are not 100% facts as we don't have access to the actual reasonings behind our managements moves or Calha's agents offers. However I find it highly unlikely we would get Calhanoglu on a free at 5.9M/year wages when we have Eriksen in the same position at 8M/year - in the case Eriksen was healthy.

To get back to the point: if not factual, what he's saying is accurate. However the reason why he is saying this is clearly a sort of gentle rivalry poke on Calhanoglu which is bread and butter for footballers whether they state it as loudly as Zlatan or not. If you read more parts from his book he talks pretty nicely about the Turk, so I don't think there's real animosity there anyways.

Zlatan is a big troll. I don't invest much energy in what he says. He loves to get a reaction by saying something controversial here and there.

Indeed. It's the only way he can grab attention after failing on the top level and now his career is fading

It not a written a quote, u keep saying it is, before it was written it was said. Second of all thats what he meant. Wether its banter or not is irrelevant, the guy is a clown, u like him / dont hate him / look up to him / respect him, good for you.

Awful comment on Calhanoglu and Eriksen, this man is not right in his head.

Milan may get rid of him to save his big salary and frankly he's just useless on the pitch for a while now. But I hope they keep him for a few additional years instead.

Depends on what you base your idea of him on. If you read into all of his punchlines, which btw are media stunts that have allowed Ibra to build up a brand which allows him to get shares in big companies without even investing one dollar, you'll not be very fond of the guy and I get it. However I have not seen one single player who has known Ibra personally say one bad thing about him, and for me thats a bigger testament to his character than the shit he says in the media.

He did build himself a brand but there have been several players (including our legends) that stated he is just too much to have, but everyone swallowed him because of the added value he brings to the team.

The pair are taking part in an advertising campaign for Italian mobile phone company Very Mobile, who are showing off their new low-cost deal.

In the advert, Ibrahimovic is seen dancing to the beat of Daddy Cool, eventually bumping into a confused Francesco Totti, who asks what he’s doing here. The Swede smirks slightly as he quips: “Taking a walk.” The Roma legend is clearly unconvinced by this explanation.
Literal translation: "Taking two steps" which is also valid for "taking a walk".
Totti replied "Yeah, of dance"

Only a matter of time til he takes credit for milans scudetto despite hardly playing when they were at their best.

You called it

IBRAHIMOVIC: ‘I KEPT MY PROMISE TO MILAN’

FTYkFQkX0AEgQ3q

Zlatan returned in January 2020 and, along with Simon Kjaer, transformed the mentality of the side to begin this journey towards the Scudetto.

“It’s wonderful, I was here last time Milan won and 11 years later we win it and I’m here again,” grinned the 40-year-old on Sky Sport Italia.
“I arrived here making a promise and I kept it. Many laughed when I said that we’d win the Scudetto again, but we worked hard and showed the team what it means to suffer for your results.”

It has been an emotional few weeks for Ibrahimovic, as his agent and mentor Raiola died with the Swede at his bedside.
“I dedicate this to Mino, he was one of those who wanted me at Milan and told me I was the only one who could save Milan. I dedicate this trophy to him.”

What would Raiola have said if he was here now?
“Let’s play another 10 years and steal more money!” laughed Ibrahimovic.

As it happens, it is Ibra alone who must decide on whether he signs a new contract at San Siro or hangs up his boots for good.
“I need to be in good shape, I need to do things. When I feel good, then I’ll see what the situation is. I still feel that I can make the difference when I’m on the pitch. I don’t see another Ibra out there.
“I will make a decision over the next few days. I had a really tough time lately, it was bad both physically, but also for other personal matters. At the end of the day, I did everything I could to help Milan win this trophy.
“I was afraid that I might have to quit, but I want to do it my way.”

Inevitably, Ibrahimovic is a leader in the locker room and is looked to for his speeches to the younger elements.
“Naturally, I talk a lot in the locker room, I told everyone to stay concentrated, as it’s easy in these situations to lose your head. It is revenge for many players that people didn’t believe in.”

Milan are a very different club now to when Ibrahimovic left for PSG in 2012, as at the time their owner was Silvio Berlusconi. They’ve since gone through Yonghong Li and Elliott Management, now seemingly about to be taken over by American fund RedBird.
“It’s a huge difference. The team 11 years ago was 22 champions who had won it all, we were the favourites going in every season. The current squad is full of young players, we put pressure on and let them understand what Milan represents. It’s a whole other story.”

IMO Maldini deserves most credit for putting together this team.

Can't hate zlatan , too many great memories, never had gf during high school, watched inter and zlatan instead 🤣 , my only source of orgasm during that period, 🤣
After a lot of sad events before calciopoli, we dominated serie A , what a great time, don't care what he achieved at milan, he basically contributed massively during our domination and champions league winning season,
Thanks ibra !
He achieved so much at inter and helped inter won the treble, his achievement at ac milan was nonexistent for me

Dude helped us a lot , grazie ibra 🤣
