Messina’s Marco Andre Zoro has explained why he threatened to walk off the field after he was hit by racist abuse from travelling Inter fans.

“I don’t want to grab headlines, but I will not accept people coming to my home stadium to insult me,” slammed the Ivory Coast international.
______________________________________

"We are not animals – we are people who love sport and give everything for our teams" Zoro said

He will go with Ivory Coast to CAF 2006 in Egypt at January , and my friend told me an Idea to make peace with him , making a banner for him in any Ivory Coast match in the Africa nation championship to tell him that we all -Specially inter fans- hate racism and love him.

So what do you think should be written in this Banner -English or Italian-

"The club has nothing to do with these people who decide to travel hundreds of miles just to insult someone." Zoro said
and to Prove that Fans can Cross continents for Something Good.

(it's my first topic don't frustrate me :) )

"I live with my team-mates in a small villa in Milan. We're all together - me, Andreolli, Boumsong. We laugh, we tell each other stories, for us racism doesn't exist because we quite simply don't know it. I don't know why God made me with black skin and you with white skin, but I don't feel any difference and I wouldn't even want them to suspend matches for racist chants. I would prefer to continue and play because those people have no importance for me. Whoever links Inter to racism has understood nothing."

It's an excellent idea Lodini, but we should wait and see.

It would show him that Inter fans would also travel to condemn racism, really a noble idea.

Lodini, the thing is, there are some things that are out of reach of our hands and this is one of them. If you are going to a football match and want to display that banner, big up to you. :star: But for me, and some of us, we don't go to football matches simply because the quality of football matches in our country is :yuck:.

Han, I think he wants to go to Egypt where Zoro would be for the African Cup, and display the banner there. If so, we have to at least help him with what to write.

Lodini, I said we should wait and see if there are any measures or new decisions taken by FIFA to combat racism. But I just realized the cup is about a month away. I will try to come up with something for you. The others should help as well, with suggestions.

ahh...my fellow deluded Inter fans. I was once one of you.
The fact of the matter is, as much as some console playing poster boys may try and deny it or delude themselves into believing it is not true, the FACT is that Inter is a racist club and will always be known as a racist club. It is a racist club due to their fans, and at the end of the day, the players play for the fans and therefore the fans represent the club, the club is racist because they try to keep things under raps....ie- Kuffour monkey chants and the numerous other monkey chants at other black players, not to mention throwing banannas at Dida's goal in recent Milan derbies.
The first step is we have to accept this, yes it is hard...but its better than deluding yourselves....wait for it....wait...yep...FFS!!!

I don't think so man, unfortunately there are some dickheads that disgrace our club... :frustrat:
Why there are no such incidents from these fans to Oba, Adri, Cordoba etc?
Because they are Inter players? If they are racists, they should act so!
They can't treat opponents like this and on the ther hand say "Yeah Oba scored" or "Adri is so facking good" because they are members of your team...
This is so facking stupid (racists are so facking stupid).

I remember some years ago Lazio (this is a racist club) fans not wanting Winter, former Dutch player, because he was black...
This is pure racism :yuck: .

Thats what makes them worse (in the opinion of others) that they are so hypocritical that they abuse other teams yet let slip of (or don't realise that we have blacks) our players.

The fans are stupid as feck. No doubt.
But the club is doing sh1t all to stop it, rather sweeping it under the carpet.

This is pure racism :yuck: .

Didn't it used to be a policy in Lazio not to play with black players?
After all, a club named SS Lazio and with an eagle on it's logo reminds me of some old leader in human history :scared: :scared:
