Oba is starting to get hot and starting to get close to scoring....

And I think Stankovic is also getting in on the action...

Geez, for the second week in a row, I lose mood to watch an Inter's secod half match. :p This time it's a live match though. :scared: Can I be losing the Inter spirit??? :( Is the spirit of Prisco and Meazza leaving my body??? OK OK, I'll force myself to watch the final 10 minutes.

it's understandable, han...

we are not exactly topping of the table, not exactly playing in europe,
and we look like a team whic learns to play together and attack together..

but i still wait for inter matches .... and watch them..

I think the quest for our team play makes me watch our games..

Wow. We missed 2 absolute sitters. First Recoba was put through by Adriano. Had all the time in the world and he was one on one with the keeper. I think he tried to slot it through the legs but well, weak shot, easy catch.

Second, Martins had a chance to make the score line a mirror image of our first match with them this season. Did superbly to go through 2 defenders, all the time in the world, one on one with the keeper...weak shot...:depress: Not sure if it was saved or just went wide.

Adriano did a similar trick to that of Ronaldinho's trick against Zaragoza. The defender clearly fouled him but the ref and linesmen must have been seeing a hot chick in the Ancona stand and wasn't looking at Adriano. A frustrating night for the Brazillian. He was hassled and marked very tightly by the Ancona defence all day long. Hell if he wear number 34 and with this yellow jersey, I would have thought I was watching Shaq!!!

Btw, this, I believe, is our first win this season when we don the yellow jersey.

Btw part 2, Ancona must be famous for its hairdressers because Adriano, Cruz, J.Zanetti, C.Zanetti and maybe more; all had just cut their hair!!!

Such a damn shame that Adriano didn´t get to score, but he can hardly be blamed for it, since he more or less had no one who made any passes to him. But overall, Adriano didn´t perform too good either.

Believe it or not, but the protagonist Recoba wasn´t any good in this game. :D But what we are in need of now, is these individualists to shine a couple of times in a match and win it for us. But overall, Recoba didn´t do good at all.

Cristiano ruled the entire midfield in the second half. And our defence looked better too, but that was because Ancona didn´t try and attack any in the second half.

Helveg didn´t screw up, but no wonder when he was never in the game. But better that we used Zanetti as our attacking force, than Helveg.

I´m pleased with the victory, but I can not understand how such a technically gifted team like Inter, has so bad passes and are so bad at creating something. They were looking like amateurs for a while with their passings.

the only thing that is good about this game is Recoba. He seems to be rejuvenated in that new role of his. Lets hope he starts against Benfica in the same position.

OMG! We won!

We finally found an opponent who´s worst than us.

Without Recoba´s awesome match we would have draw´ed. Best player was obviously Recoba and worst players were Cruz, Adriano, Stankovic and Martins. How many changes Adriano needs to score? How many balls he misses, he misses even more than Vieri did when he was out of form. Stankovic hasn´t done much since his arrival either. Was this our second win since we bought Adriano-Stankovic duo? Weren´t they supposed to help us and not vice versa? Quite pathetic i must say.

Jimmy, I don't watch much of the second half () but I thought Recoba played a good match. He was in the thick of things in the first half. And besides the goal and the assist count most. I would easily give him a 7/10 for his performance.

Well, I too noticed that Helveg didn't get too many pass from this team-mates. Thank God for that. J.Zanetti look more active in this match IMO.

Ancona didn't attack??? I thought they were attacking us ecspecially after our second goal. Our chances came from counter-attacks mostly after our goals. I thought the defence, other than Gamarra on a few occasions, did well tonight.

But yeah, our passing sux. Our creativity is on par with Ancona. I hope that both will improve with time when the players are used to each other.

Yes, but the way he kept moving the ball from his right foot to his left foot, made everything go really slow.

When he scored, he got everything right and it was the right moment to score.

Other than that, I was frustrated with the way our offensive players played. Recoba included.

it was not a bad game, but i am not satisfied at all.... except for the win ofcourse.....

we did made good passes...but when we were clueless in defending and in opponent's box...

recoba's role - ?? hehe.... don't know ..... he wa everywhere - right, left, central,..... ;)

ancona didn't trouble us at all, telling frankly.... only few times, but too rare.....

good that we are passing well, atleast against ancona.... :D

we might have played more better, i guess, but may be it cud be due to ancona's poor performance that didn't help our players to play more better and also we were 2-0 up later on ?? :D

we missed two great chances, first when recoba was one to one with the goalkeeper; then again when martins was one to one against the goalkeeper again !!
we can't miss like this in other games though !!

ancona didn't play well today though......

and well, we are still 6th. Lets hope that we get close to the 4th spot very very soon.....

c'mmon Roma and Bologna !! :D

Don't know which was Recoba's position today, but he did play well..... a good game from him and lets hope that he does the same against Benfica as well....and benfica is not ancona !! :)

;)

We won today, coz Ancona was pathetic......
We had more possession, but rarely did anything.....??

just made school boy passes and clueless most of the times.....

:)

Anyway, atlast we won !! in our 12th match, atlast.....
