We don't need him. We've done quite well so far. We can see out the season (which I think we can) with just adding another central midfielder. Idgaff about the cost of this operation, just cos it's there and available doesn't mean we should grab it.

1. He is from Manu. He is quintessentially the kind of player that Fergie used to like and make shine under him. Hate that fucking club.

But he is definitely better than Biraghi, and Asamoah as well for LWB. Better than D'Ambrosio, and Lazaro for RWB. He will be useful to us. And he is on a short contract, so no harm.

The sad reality is that even a 34 year old Young, who was never a great player even when younger, will most likely improve our starting XI as LWB. Even if its for the very short term. Hopefully this means we will target a top LWB in the summer.
