It wasn't penalty, but still itiotic tackle by Silvestre. He shouldnt have thrown himself like that in that corner. Besides, the guy that felt dribbled past him like he isnt there.

I missed out on watching the match, but can someone give me an honest, unbiased wrap of the game, was it a deserved loss or an undeserved loss ?

Undeserved, we played pretty good actually in attack and should have scored at least two more but kept fucking up chances instead, defense was just very shaky and Silvestre was worthless again. A few major brainfarts of his caused us to concede, actually, all three conceded goals are his fault. Other players were pretty much having an off-day as well but overall we weren't bad and certainly did not deserve to lose here. The best thing was the enthusiasm and eagerness the players had (except for Silvestre who barely moved if Atalanta was attacking).

3 goals conceded entirely Silvstre's fault ???

How'd Cambiasso fare ? Did he play along Juan and Silveste ?

I see both teams had a considerable amount of shots at goal. Were we dangerous but unlucky in front of goal or are the game stats deceiving ?

I wouldn't really say it's undeserved. It's hard to say Atalanta didn't deserve a result, as they looked dangerous on the counter and nearly every time they attacked it caused us problems as we were shocking at the back. We had more shots and possession, but not by the margin some folks in here seem to think.

We started off well enough, looked decent in attack, then Atalanta scored basically their 1st chance. But after that, they were the better team the rest of the half and Denis somehow missed when completely unmarked from 6 yards out, or it could have been 2-0 by halftime. Our 2 best chances were a pair of Palacio headers from close range that he managed to hit right to the keeper, though they still took some decent saves. We started off well enough again in the 2nd half, but could only score from a free kick and then they almost immediately responded when Silvestre apparently forgot how offsides works and left Denis completely unmarked. Again.

As far as eagerness and enthusiasm... meh. Guarin played well. Juan, Palacio and Handanovic as well. But that's about it. Everyone else was somewhere between historically awful (Silvestre) and fairly decent (Nagatomo/Cambiasso). Even JZ had a shocker.

Looking at our schedule now compared to Juve, I am optimistic. They may think they've won the scudetto already, but clearly they have not.
Even without our best defenders vs Atalanta we shouldve won that game. They were lucky to win it even though our forward and defense sucked.

-Clear red not given to Atalnta on first half
-Looking at the replays, there was no PK in hell, so at best they would have snatched a draw against a tired, unlucky Inter with alot of key player injuries.

Yep, I was mad during and a little after the game, but let's look forward now. We have played in a very hard pitch without our real defense basically and without Cuchu in the midfield. Yet, we could've won the game if the refs were not blind (at worst draw as I said), so we did ok.

We would look much better when we get Samuel, Rano, Wes and Cou(Rotations) back. Plus, there is a simple fact that you can't always win and always look fantastic, even real loses points against poorer teams in thier own league, with a much better squad compared to ours. That's football, nohting to worry about, just thank all of our players for trying hard.

Now, just look at this:

Inter next 3 (league) games:

18 Nov Inter Milan Cagliari
26 Nov Parma Inter Milan
2 Dec Inter Milan Palermo

We should have a fit team by then (I hope?) since we're pretty much done in the EL group stages, well I want to hope so that Strama won't be silly enough to risk our key players again just to have better chances to get 1st spot in EL.. who fucking cares if we finnish 2nd or 1st, as long as we're doing well in the league.

We should be able to win all three games, I really can't see us dropping points at home against those teams.
Although Parma will be a tricky game, but clearly they're not as good as they were last season with Gio and we should beat them aswell.

Juve's next 4 (league) games:

17 Nov Juventus Lazio Roma
20 Nov Juventus Chelsea
25 Nov AC Milan Juventus
1 Dec Juventus Torino
5 Dec Shakhtar Juventus
9 Dec Palermo Juventus

All games will be hella hard for them, for a few reasons. Not only because Lazio is a quality team, Milan away is always hard for them, and Torino will be pumped up against them in the derby, but also because they'll be playing thier most important game of the season, in-between those dates, which would require them to rest some key players and might (hopefully) lose some due to injuries. Hell, they have barely beaten Bolgona at home when they rested thier key players.

Sure, in reality one (or more) of thier league games from this list could turn to be a walk in the park for them, but on paper all should be hella hard.

Lazio- Good team, and they will probably rest key players for the Chelsea match against them, very likely to drop points here.
Milan- It might be Allegri's last chance, Milan away is never easy for Juve and they could easily drop points in this one aswell.
Torino- The Derby has it's own rules. Nevertheless, Torino aren't a bad team either, Napoli and Lazio couldn't beat them, Atlanta lost to them at home 1-5 (!!!!) Not to mention the upcoming CL game after this in case it even matters for them anymore.
Palermo- Easiest one on the list IMO, but it still doesn't mean anything. In case they has anything to play for in Shakhtar, Palermo could do harm to them.

So yeah. They will and should have trouble with the upcoming games, I'll remain optimistic. We should be -1 or -2 PT from them at worst if we win all of our next 3 games, and then surely pumped up for our match VS Napoli at the Meazza. Don't give your hopes up just yet!

Well, maybe we didn't deserve to lose... But we didn't deserve to win either.

We were too shaky in defense. We mustn't allow to play that bad. All talk about how shit Silvestre was (in all honesty, he was our worst player on the pitch), but so were other players. Zanetti was strangely weak in both attack and defense. IMO our second worse player after Silvestre.

We started out well, attacked them. They hit us on counter, poor marking by Silvestre, but also easy cross allowed from the right, and they scored. Handa could do nothing about the goal.

Later, we had the possession, but they hit us on counter hard, Denis missed great chance to score. Palacio had two great chances that CF good with his head must've converted, unfortunately Palacio isn't that good with his head. It was great save by Consigli as well (he had few other great saves later on). First half ended 1-0.

In the second, we started attacking. Cassano had one shot from free kick, and the second try, Guaro scored that screamer from the same position. We were great that period, had great counter just few minutes later, but Palacio slipper while crossing. And in the next attack, they scored. I don't think it was Silvestres fault, the cross came from the left, between Nagas legs, and it was Juans player, and god knows where he was.

Than the penalty came. Unexciting tho. Even if silvestre did make the tackle penalty worthy, the guy that was fouled was in offside, so... It was still stupid tackle, he was dribbled too easily before he made it, like he was an amateur... After the third Strama went all in attack, introduced Livaja, Ricky and Pereira, instead of Cambi, Zanetti and Cassano. Smart moves, but we still didn't manage to win, but only to reduce on 3-2 by Palacios great finish.

All in all, very, very weak defense, no communication between them whatsoever. Silvestre was the worst, after that Zanetti. Naga and Juan were decent, but still had their players lost in marking for few times.

Milito was also nonexistent. Cassano was below average too. Palacio was great, he ran, he fought, he scored. Guarin was BOSS, our best performer by far. Gargano made lot's of mistakes, but he assisted well on Guarins goal and was running a lot, as always. Cambi was average, imo he was played too up on the pitch, often Palacio and Cassano were behind. Pereira did well since coming in, few great tackles. Ricky was shit, lost 3-4 balls for no reason and didn't do anything productive, but i didnt expect him to do, after playing once in 3 games for 30 minutes, and when losing 3-1, away. Livaja, same as Ricky.

That's pretty much it, my view how it went. I think 2-2 or 3-3 would have been fair and square, but..

Milito.

I mean this game, when both Zanetti and Cambiasso have been subbed off.

Normally, the hierarchy of captaincy looks like this:

1. Zanetti
2. Stankovic
3. Cambiasso
4. Milito
5. Sneijder

really spot on,,
our backline was horrible last nigth,,
still thinking we could get a better result if play cambi as CB with 3man defender from first minute

This game doesn't hurt too badly, but every time we play Silvestre it's basically a crap shoot of if we are going to win or he will throw the game away. He doesn't inspire confidence in anyone at all. From the players to the fans, that is unacceptable.

First of all

@NeonBlade, @I4E, @Pajo:
you guys should just shut the f up and stop criticizing our star defender, Silvestre. He is one of our most reliable players right now.
I hate it that you guys seem to think that we should not be losing these games. As a matter of fact, we are nowhere great at all! You guys seem to be stuck in the calciopoli fantasy era where Moratti masterminded the Serie A domination for us through non-footballing means!

Remember, we won the serie A titles not by improving, but by pulling the top teams down, and in turn, lowering the whole Italian football standard! Now the top teams are back to their great standards in the past, we have to watch on and pray that our father moratti will conjure up another magical allegation/scandal to pull the top teams down again!

To be honest, we all know our dear inter can only win titles through such underhand methods, but so what?! At least I felt fucking good when I see our inter players holding the Serie A trophy!

If Moratti can conjure up another scandal and bring Juve and Milan and Napoli and Fiorentina and Roma down, I think us as fans should really give him head! And you neonblade, should offer your backdoor.

@interista4:

Why the hell are you worrying about Juventus fixtures?

They are of no relations to us. We are Inter milan! We should keep our head down, work hard and stay in Serie A and also support Moratti to fabricate another scandal to bring other teams down!

FORZA INTER KNNBCCB!!!!!!
FORZA MORATTI KNNBCCB!!!!!!

---------- Post added at 06:00 ---------- Previous post was at 05:56 ----------

Don't you guys just hate it that Juventus are always so hardworking like brainless soldiers trying to play well for their team and win?

Luckily our players are smarter, we know how to relax and sometimes go left and right, like what my idol Cassano said. There are so many other ways to win Serie A, who needs to play good football and work hard? We have MORATTI to fabricate untrue facts to bring other teams down!

SUCK ON IT HATERS! WE INTER MILAN FUCKING BADDASS LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER!
