What an idiot the nigerian guy was. His side was in control and then he hands greece the game.

To be honest, it wouldn't have been a red if the Greek guy hadn't produced the biggest dive since Busquets.

OH MY GOD. Could a keeper on here confirm that it's not that hard to hang on to a rolling ball?

Zanetti.
He's a great keeper. I blame the ball.

Torosidis a diver? Really? :D:D:D:D:D He's a disgrace back home :p

He just stated: "I don't care if we qualify, I really don't give a damn. I'm just happy that we won today and we replied to our critics(back home) in the best way"

There was a moment were Greece had 21 shots and Nigeria had 6. I think it ended 27-8. Karagounis was very good offensively and was denied a few times by Enyama who got the Man of the Match award(would deserve it 100% if it wasn't for 2nd goal). The Greek goalkeeper, Alex Tzorvas, had a great reflex stop as well in the 2nd half. I would say that Salpingidis was the best player for Greece, scored the deflected goal but he gave his all today. Positive performance by Kyrgiakos and Katsouranis(on the offensive note)

Apart from a few situations, this was the Greece I expected to see. The real potential. To be we conceded a dumb set-piece goal and the Nigerians had to be reduced to 10 in order to show that. The Papastathopoulos sub(instead of A.Papadopoulos) was justified as he had a yellow card and it's easy to concede a card when the opposition is made of fast players.

A point vs Argentina and a Nigerian win is enough for Greece :p So if Argentina does not show up in the last game of the group, Greece is through :D

I honestly think Nigeria and South Korea are level, but I give Nigeria a slight edge. 1st, they play with more brain(which is bizarre for an African team, but they have Lagerback). Korea plays with no fear, but they're not Brazil. Really brave of them to face Argentina the way they did, but it can't work. That's the kind of football I want to see though.

Greece should start Ninis and Karagounis in the next game, Karagounis playing deep, and Ninis behind a sole striker(maybe Salpingidis, who is not good at that role but can get lucky with Demichelis or Burdisso)

Pretty disgraceful dive, didn't even look like Kaita made any contact on replays...Still, it was stupid of him...The dive from the Greek player, though, reminded me of Rivaldo more than anyone the way he reacted as if he had been shot

Well, there was contact, even slight, but Torosidis took 120% advantage.

Yeah, you're right - ever so slight...Missed it on the initial replays...Very dumb from Kaita which were only compounded by his incredulous reaction to the explusion

Fucking angry I am! But we had a chance to score and we blew it, plus Kaita is really an IDIOT for the kick* - even though the other fart did a BUTSKIRTS (Busquets) imitation. Well, we're out of the tourney - and I think South Korea will probably make it through. I'm not being unpatriotic, just being logical

Well, given that Argentina can beat Greece by a large margin, you only need a 1 goal win against Korea to go through.

The dive was exagerated but you do not kick another player. The ball was out of play for a throw in. There is no reason to kick out in that situation. You put your team in a very difficult situation by doing it. When you kick out like that you always run the risk of a red.

CAUTION: THE GREEK STARTING LINEUP MIGHT CAUSE BLINDNESS.

ffs! the drunken German will play 6-3-1 from what I've heard!!!

That's one goalkeeper(Tzorvas-got it right there, yay!!)
A-right back at- left back(Torosidis) and -former- right back(Seitaridis)
Four, that F-O-U-R, 4, quattro, center backs. At least that's their natural position(Kyrgiakos, Papastathopoulos, Moras, A.Papadopoulos)
2 defensive midfielders (Tziolis, Katsouranis)
1 semi-creative midfielder(Karagounis)
and to conclude this salad, Otto will use a midget second striker as lone striker(Salpingidis)

Interesting...NOT!!!

Apparently it's Samaras instead of Salpingidis (much better) and Vyntra instead of Seitaridis (mistake-prone Vyntra or unfit Seitaridis...? same shit tbh)

Expect either a ping pong game, or a futile siege.

Excatly one month after his Champions League heroics, Il Principe will give his starting debut in the WC.

Tzorvas keeping us alive, the Uzbek ref seems to want Messi's and Veron's autograph, and the pitch feels like a tennis hard court!

45 more minutes which I doubt we can cope, Nigeria must beat Korea though for us to have hopes.
