Lol what do you mean? This mercato literally starts with -€50M 😅

payments are due for:
PlayerAgeLeftFee
Davide Frattesi
Davide Frattesi
Central Midfield
24€29.00m
Carlos Augusto
Carlos Augusto
Left Midfield
25€13.00m
Marko Arnautovic
Marko Arnautovic
Centre-Forward
35€8.00m

Those are already accounted for.

We still owe Man Utd some money for Lukaku (should be till end of season, it's some old bonuses, main fixed structure has been repaid) and we're still due Hakimi money from PSG and Onana money from Man Utd.

Payment structure isn't relevant here as long as those have been accounted for. And they have been.

Inzaghi reportedly decided to keep him (of course, he brought him).

GdS also write that Inzaghi's priority is a TOP striker, which makes me think of Zirkzee.
Zirkzee is the real deal and Inter should do anything in their powers to sign him. Then you will have proper competition in all departments 😎

Arna was a bad deal as was Sanchez(age/wages). Other 2 are great business. Frattessi still needs to win his starting spot but has been awesome off the bench.

hopefully with our bad finances we dont panic sign 80 year olds and give our youth players a shot next season.

Ausilio: Inter will make signings – but not like last summer
Asked about Inter’s plans for this summer, Ausilio remarked, “If I said that our transfer window is already over, would you believe me?
😎
“There’s no concern,” continued the executive.
“We’ve already made some signings,” Ausilio said. “There’s no point in hiding it. It’s an open secret.”
“We’ve already signed two excellent players,” the executive said, referring to Taremi and Zielinski. “They should be able to fit into what’s already a strong group.”

“But we aren’t going to build a squad that’s too large,” Ausilio continued.
“The coach has done well to give everyone playing time. And you can only do that if you have the right balance and the right number of players.”
“We want to add to our squad,” the Inter Sporting Director made clear.
But it won’t be a window like last summer when we made big changes. Maybe we won’t change things all that much.”
Finally a relaxed summer

That's mean our starting XI not changed but maybe some subs will added to replace our bad subs.

Sensi, Arna, Cuadrado, Klaasen, and Sanchez are gone.

I must say this season our subs sometimes pathetic, only Frattesi and Sanchez are very reliable.

Zirkzee is more of a second striker than a top striker. If they say top striker, it's probably going to be somebody in the vein of Vlahović (not him ofc)

Obviously I would love Zirkzee here, but the question would be if Zirkzee would except a (mostly) bench role.

Both. I think Zirkzee is the type of player that could be our next Sanchez, but so far I haven't got the feel he'll transform into a 25+ goal striker per season. Altho he would contribute in other ways too.

I have no clue who would be a top striker that would give us another dimension up top and that won't shy away from big moments. Hopefully it isn't something stupid like Martial in 2024

Our mercato for next season will likely depend on :
1. Carboni
2. Stankovic
3. Dumfries
4. Thuram
Also might be some loanne like Satriano, Esposito.

Hope we can land trade Zirkzee for Carboni + Stankovic

Asllani will also leave imo, people tend to forget he was bound to leave last mercato and was stopped only in the last minute. Don't see significant improvements this year if i m being honest, and inzaghi just doesn't trust him unless he has no choice then to play him.

Inzaghi rarely trusts to anyone when he has his starting 11 in disposal. Asllani did well, when he had to replace Hakan with 1-2 exceptions, which is normal. Letting go him, and buying a replacement will be more expensive, except if someone offers like 30-35mln for him, which won't happen.

Zirkzee sounds like a way too expensive option for us. If the market prices start from 50m€, I think it's extremely difficult for us. We need to possibly empty our youth sector (I'm talking Carboni, Fabbian, Espositos) just to get one guy.

He will be sold if someone offers 15-20 mil, I can assure you.

I don't really care about asllani, don't hold him in high regard like some people here, and I definitely think he is replaceable.

Well, if I was Asllani, I'd demand a move elsewhere. Hakan is not even that old, he has plenty of years on his shoulder and very limited minutes wouldn't help my development. I'm not saying he's an exceptional talent, but at least he can still be a consistent player in some other team of the league. But apparently he loves the club a lot, and wants to remain here, but honestly I'm not sure if it's a good idea at all.

Everyone is replaceable, but there is no sense to sell someone for 15-20mln, when he is okish deputy for Hakan, on a low salary, and to wonder how to replace him after that.

seems like get a competitor for Thuram or a GK.

MF we are good for a bit and have some interesting prospects out on loan. DF again it can hold for another season hopefully a youth player pops up too.

Pretty much we need someone to take off the pressure from our main 2 strikers or a much younger GK to replace Sommer who isn't getting younger. I rather go for a striker.

we are going to have to pay big for a GK. Rather do that when we absolutely have to. Paying 20-30m for a back up that might not start for another 1-2 seasons or ever seems like a dumb gamble when thats our whole budget.
