Thats a wrong logic. We would never be last season finalist of CL based on our domestic league performances. Dortmund has a really good players, coach, gameplan, style, and in 2 games they can beat anyone (except City or Real).

This thread took a weird turn but since we are on the subject ... Mourinho's Inter was stronger overall but Inzaghi's current Inter is way more entertaining. Mourinho would have never played like this and would have never taken so many risks. Both are some of the strongest teams Inter had but that 2010 team was something else. With a finisher like Milito you can easily argue that this Inter may have reached new heights.

Milito is a good point, but also Eto´o, Sneijder... we have a problem upfront when it comes to scoring goals. Lautaro as every year dissapears for some months. Thuram can do a lot of things maybe, scoring is anyway not hes talent. Other players are just doing the job but no one was like Sneijder, he was basically assist man and also had a good shot to score. Miky and Barella are not like that, Cahla maybe could, but not in this 352.
I was reading a lot of things here after Atletico-Inter, for me it's clear, we wasted too much oppurtunitys. About other things i don't care. If we want to discuss about our playing style, effort, what else, everything bullshit. Barella and Thuram had ridiciolous oppurtunitys, same thing in the first leg, there was like at least 3 golden missed opportunitys. That was the main reason why we are out of the CL. The same thing happend against City last year so nothing new. We lost with Lukaka fuck ups but Thuram is even worse at scoring.

Agree but defence tend to get disorganized once you replace one of its elements towards the end of the game, especially when the pressure is too high. We have experienced that many times in the past and it always backfired.
