Starting Strikers

Few members suggested we have a poll for who our starting strikers should be.

I didn't know where to put it, so I figured a separate thread with a poll is best.

LOL Frisko, I am a slow moderator, I thought I'd get away with that, but we got fancy-arse members here.

After some reflection over the last few days, I voted for Zlatan-Crespo, at least for the moment.

Adriano needs time to regain his touch without pressure. Playing him consistently didn't help him last year, maybe time on the bench would be good.

absolutely zlatan-adri,they are the future striker duo. at least we give them chances to play together in a few first league matches.

crespo can come if they can not deliver. but seeing his age, it will not be that good to rely on him in the first team. i mean, his time in high level football is not last that much .

I think there was some misunderstanding.

I still believe that Adriano-Zlatan is the pair of the future, however, in the present time, I prefer to start with Zlatan - Crespo.

Like Frisko mentioned, continuing playing Adriano in his current state is kind of dangerous. We tried it last year and it didn't work and just made the situation worse.

Adriano now doesn't have to carry the scoring duties by himself. He can take his time and rediscover his form. Coming off the bench maybe a better approach than starting him again and again and telling him 'you better score son or Crespo will come on for you.'

It took me 2.1 seconds to choose Z-C.

I will choose Crespo as a starter anytime he's ready to play. Hernan is a must, without him we won't score enough.

Adriano and Zlatan can fight for their place, but right now, Zlatan is definitely winning the battle.

The mercenary duo of Ibra-Crespo would probably be my first choice. I'd love for Adriano to re-discover his form but it's been too long since he looked good and we can't afford to pamper him this season. Either he starts scoring or he won't play; simple as that.

Then what do have do with Ronaldo? Maybe put him instead of Adriano on the bench and again start a thread about starting strikers and then someone like you come and suggest sell him and at last we we have no Adriano and no Ronaldo!!!

Crespo - Ibra at the moment, but only because Adriano is still totally out of form..Regardless of that long black period of his, I still believe in him and think that progressively he should get his chance instead of Zlatan..

Talking about a long black period, he's not been up to a decent standard for almost one and a half year now

Anyway, I'll go for Ibra - Adri for a few more matches, but if Adri doesn't score then he can go and sit on the bench

Many reasons:
1. Adriano out of form
2. More security in scoring GOALS
3. 1 box striker and 1 support striker (unlike Adri-Ibra)
4. We want scudetto
5. Mancini doesn't want to get fired for playing a duo that can't score GOALS.

Coz i thought about it generally and if both are in form It s defenatly Adri-Zlatan

Right now i d go fore Zlatan-Crespo since adri is playing realy shitty

But no way i d want to see a crespo-adri this is so not gonna worke, then id even prefere a recoba-cruz.
