This is the price we have to pay to develop new young super stars in our ranks, we have to let him play and we have to let him do mistakes so he`d learn from them. we do this now and in few years time I bet you`ll never regret it.

Juan Jesus all the fucken way!!

Unfortunately, Campagnaro might take one of Juan or Ranocchia's place next season, most likely Juan judging from the amount of mistakes he makes compared to Ranocchia.

Unless, we are switching to back three again, Campagnaro plays as a RB, or we're getting him for the bench (but why on Earth would we do that?).

why not having Campagnaro for 20 games a season? he can do it. so Ranocchia and Juan Jesus don't need to care about yellow cards

The thing is, would you bench a player playing at the top of his game (Campagnaro), for a youngster who's making mistakes every now and then (Jesus).

It's more logical to give Campagnaro more game time than Jesus, Jesus will probably be the one who's playing 15-20 games as the rotational player.

Well, remember Campagnaro hasnt played every game this season already, and presumably it will only go down hill from there.

I guess ultimately it depends on where we end up. If we make the CL, I can see JJ being given more time to develop next season. If we dont make the CL, I can see the pressure of getting back in immediately being very high, and as such, Campagnaro+Ranocchia at the back.

However, I think the latter would sum up our downfall quite nicely - we have a great young player who, imho, has done more than Coutinho already, and we're going to drop him.

I think Juan-Campagnaro looks more compatible than Campagnaro-Ranocchia. So it may be Ranocchia who could be rotated.

Also, Juan seems to play better when Samuel is around. Perhaps playing with Chivu on your side is not as comforting :p

there's no way we're dropping ranocchia, tbh. he's got to be first choice for the coming time period, or else its a fucking disaster. he's been in very good form, and suits RCB too.

I was thinking of the opposite actually, if we don't qualify for CL, then Jesus would have more time to play, particularly in the EL.

Even if we qualify for the next CL, we still have to go all in to qualify for the CL after next, thus I don't think the pressure would be abated for the players at all. But definitely, Campagnaro wouldn't be able to play every game, Jesus would definitely be able to get some games by rotating with either Campagnaro or Ranocchia.

Though personally, I'd prefer to play him as many games as possible, it's not like he cannot handle being a regular in Inter.

It is like this:

RCB: Ranocchia,Campagnaro
LCB:Jesus,Samuel

Campagnaro plays as a RCB role on paper for Napoli but the dude can move forward quite effectively so he can also play as a RB/RWB...

I think we wanted/got him when we were still playing the 3-5-2 crap formation but now we don't so a backup for Frog he will be
I hope :eek:blivious:

LOL.

This what I predict to be the defensive lineup next season.

Nagatomo-Rano-Campagnaro-Juan

This could be pretty good against dangerous counter attacking teams :

Campagnaro-Rano-Samuel-Juan

Actually he has made enough mistakes to deserve bench for a few games but the probelm is that we have no proper replacement

Chivu can do the job for a few games unless he's still injured.
