Oh Pajo, Gomez is a joke. He has a bit of pace and a few tricks but is nothing more than average. Sanchez is far better. I'd even rate our skillless Schelotto over Gomez. At least Schelotto can pop in the box once in a while and threaten with his height.

Gomez is only slightly worse than Sanchez. And 3x cheaper.

I really hope we are not considering Lennon! How many English players have done well in Serie A? Plus, Tottenham would want loads for him. We've done well with signings such as Icardi and Botta for our attack. I can immagine that if Sanchez arrived, then Cassano would leave. We could also get a decent amount for Cassano, or even a discount if we used him in the deal for Icardi. I also think we have given Alvarez too many chances so I think we need to cut our losses and also hopefully get a decent amount for him. I don't know about Milito, maybe he could stay to help Icardi or we could just free up space and sell him in the summer. This would be my ideal transfer market in attack this summer:

BUY
Icardi - 5 million (+Cassano)
Sanchez - 18 million
Botta - Free

SELL
Alvarez - 5 million
Cassano - Include in Icardi deal
Rocchi - End contract

As you can see, Icardi would be bought using Cassano and money from Alvarez. The 18 million from Sanchez would be part of the UCL money (if we don't get UCL place, then Rocchi will get contract extension). We would also have Milito who would be able to 'mentor' Icardi while not having huge playing responsibilites and Palacio who could be used as the winger, given Botta time to settle in and allowing him to be used as an impact substitution. I would also send Longo on loan to somewhere else to get more playing time and keep Livaja where he is. If we do decide to sell Milito in the summer, then we should attempt to get Rodrigo. That means our attack for the 2013/14 season would be:

- Milito
- Palacio
- Sanchez
- Icardi
- Botta

Then, by the summer of 2014, Milito and Palacio would have left and Inter would be economically stronger. This, with the help of Leonardo possibly replacing Branca, means one thing...
