“What did I say to Wallace when he came on? To stay calm and try to play well because God was with him. At the end of the first half the coach was angry about some things, which helped us because the situation changed when we came back on. In the end he was very happy.”

:proud::proud::proud:

Totally selfless even after earning a starting spot in the lineup. If it's Santon and Adriano, they would have headed off to parties already.

But Johnny, the mentality of a champion, keep it up.

Again, new Maicon? More like new Capitano, the show of caring and encouragement for other players, we've found ourselves an absolute jewel on the right flank, absolutely pointless to have Isla.

Dani Alves.

There's really no upcoming brilliant RB from Brazil, except for Jonathan, Danilo, and Wallace. And we got 2/3, we are awesome.

I'm officially a stan. :epicwin:

He is one of my fav players right now, so joyful to look at his optimistic face. Hardworker!!

I pissed myself laughing at this tho, from harlem-shake to defying gravity. :yao:

After all the cursing Branca got at FIF for Jonathan last season, no one is now giving him any credit.

Let me start by saying "Branca, well done. Perhaps Maicon was not a fluke. I take everything I said re Jonathan back, I was wrong and you were right all along."

2 good matches and we're all sucking dicks now. Can we at least wait till 20 matches into the season?

Well, since it's FIF, i'd say if he now plays two MEDIOCRE games, he will be hated again

Tho, the improvement IS HUGE. Even if he doesn't play as good as now, he will not be shit as at the beginning for sure. He will still contribute.

I also don't think it's three games only, he was pretty good in the second half of last season as well. Not as good as now, but still pretty good and way better than before.

Regardless of how supposedly well Jonathan plays at this current moment in time, nothing changes the fact that he's been below par in the two seasons prior to his ..rejuvenation..

So do we really have to give Branca credit for replacing a good RB with an RB who's been performing, at times, horrendously for us? No.

Jonathan had a pretty good run with Parma. It's hard to imagine someone who's capable of playing for another side in Serie A can't even do the basics with Inter.

Schelotto might just have something to offer, I ain't losing faith yet :jimmy:.

He's doing well but not getting carried away just yet, I'm waiting to see if Jonathan has truly been reborn or whether he will revert to his brainfart ways. Juve will be his first big test.

After playing 1 season with jz40(worst feet in serie a history) everyone putting 2 assist in 2 games seems the best rb/rw of the world

He was good in Brazil, good with Parma, when you compare the Johnny of last year with the one who began the season, it make you think about how the confidence can change a player.

I hope he keeps it up. I really like his personality off the pitch, but we all know that can change if he doesn't consistently deliver on the pitch. Hoping for the best.
