10 years of FIFWhen I was watching yesterday, even BT Sport commentators kept saying that he had a frustrating performance all game and didn't perform to what he is capable of. I thought he did good, nothing special but definitely not bad at all.

Most Diverse PosterHe was our best player on the field with Handa and Miranda, and no it wasnt a superb performance but the entire team was shit yesterday so that makes him the less shittier in the team.
He's important to our midfield as he's one of the only players who can get past a man and move the ball forward. He needs to do that more often and take initiative. One thing I don't like is hiw he is way too reliant on his left foot.

Yes, he has been disappointing but he is in a new league and new team, and needs time.
To me, he seems like a confidence player. When he starts off well, his confidence grows and he can show what he can do. However, when he makes a wrong pass he sulks and that affects his performance.

Not gonna lie was bitterly disappointed with his display especially after I thought he turned a corner vs Empoli. As some said we need to be patient with him, in my opinion no one in our squad (an outfield player) has the potential to be world class someday except for this fucker. Maybe Icardi as well but I believe Kondogbia has more, if he can perfect his game, with his frame and technical ability. He could be something special. I also believe that is why we paid the sum we have to obtain him.

10 years of FIFWhen you pay €40m for a player, considering our finances too, they should be making an immediate impact. But again it's not his fault out management spent so much on him. He's lucky we've been doing so well or he would be under much more scrutiny

I think the guy could actually make it in top teams, he would perfectly suit Arsenal e.g.. I think his major problem is that he's given a role he's not used to play at. He would be a great ball-winning regista, winning aerial duels in midfield, winning the loose ball and getting possession back and subsequently delivering the ball to players higher up the pitch. I'm pretty sure he would also feel more comfortable if there was a wide player constantly available for him to interact with (he's shown pretty good understanding with Jovetic, Perisic and Ljajic when they were deployed close to K-dog), or an AM he could deliver the ball to.
Instead, he's constantly used as Mezzala, drifting out wide, and as a result he is found alone in midfield too often. Thus he has to attempt riskier moves, since the obvious ones are not available. Our forwards are also not that good in terms of off-the-ball play, thus K-dog cannot cut the opposition defense with a through pass which is one of the main thing a Mezzala should do.
What he should definitely improve on is his first touch. Other than that, I don't see that he's problems are his personal skills. It's the lack of interaction with the rest of the team.

10 years of FIFMancini keeps playing him out of his role, often our build-play has fallen on him, that's not what he's good at. He has played most of his career as DM and when he played as CM he played besides a playmaker.

Forum Supporter10 years of FIFSure, but who the fuck else do we have? We don't really have a creative deep lying playmaker. When Kondogbia plays along Brozovic, Brozo is always wayyyy further up the pitch so it's up to Kondog to get the ball up there.
Find him a good deep lying playmaker & let him play that box to box role and he'll shine. But right now we're shit outta luck we have to play him as is.
