I honestly think that Suicide Squad was one of the worst ever movies I've ever watched. The plot is stupid, the villains are absolutely fucking retarded, the anti-heroes are the most cliches ever and the way they defeated the main big boss...Jesus H Christ. That could be the worst minute ever in movie.

BUT!!!

Most importantly, I find it fortunate that Leto's Joker did not blow it. I think Heath Ledger's version is still unquestionably better but it is obviously not right yet to compare the two, considering that Leto's Joker was never given the chance to shine and the overall movie is just dogshit. I even believe that given the right environment, Leto's Joker has the potential to even better Heath Ledger's.

Margot Robbie was also great as Harley Quinn but I believe she won't be much of a factor in the DCEU anymore, right? I hope I'm wrong. Still can't beat Gal Gadot's hawtness doe. :datass:

Rumour has it that we'll get a Birds of Prey or a Gotham Sirens film with Margot Robbie in it. My bet is they'll go to the Gotham Sirens route with Harley, Poision Ivy and Catwoman because WB loves Batman characters.

Possible SPOILERS ahead:
Just came back from Suicide Squad with mixed feelings.
Like in the theatrical cut of BVS, the editing was horrible, they should definitely make an extended cut.
My feeling is that after the bad reception of BVS, they added the pop songs from the spoundtrack (even Eminem, ffs) and the cool shiny effects to appeal to the teenage generation. Even Joker and Harleys relationship feels like a teenage drama.
Leto's Joker has enormous potential, but they fucked it up, too little screentime, zero backstory, Affleck should seriously include him in his Batman movie.
All in all, it was ok for me, but i understand the critics and those who didn't like it, the movie has serious issues.
Btw, the movement of Enchantress when she made that tunnel of hell or whatever was hilarious, i can't take a villain seriously with that movement. And his brother just posessed a random guy from the metro? Lel

It's not like BvS where they had to cut out copious amounts of footage in order to make it a acceptable length. They literally shot different versions of various scenes and showed them to viewing audiences and the more upbeat stuff won out. They basically cut out all the Joker being abusive to Harley stuff (which is more accurate in the comics). Croc being a cannibal, Boomerang being a racist and sexist cunt. Basically the studio decided to make it more kid and female friendly.

Suicide Squad dissapointed. Didn't like Harley that much and I tried to a lot, didnt like the other characters much, especially diablo. Thought Will Smith was definitely the best out of all of them though. Would love to see more of Letos joker. I enjoyed him on the screen. Though he was forced as anything, his scenes didnt mean much.

When Diablo came out as a fucking fire Ent from lord of the rings, waving his hand shouting gangster terms in Spanish I was fucking done. Worst part of a movie ever I think. The villian they had to fight was so shit. I think this movie would have been 100 times better if they were trying to stop the Joker or something. I thought thats why he was in it.

Could see a Deadshot vs Batman movie in the future for sure. Think they done a really poor job of making their 'Super Villians' look 'Super'.

Honestly, those things won't help much.

Batman v Joker in a standalone movie would be superb.

No Deadshot is not a A list Villian. I can see him being a Teen Titans or Red Hood Villian or if they make a Robin movie. Or a Batgirl one but even tho he is Will Smith they just can't go the FOX Wolverine route. That Deadshot is the best haha and lets make his powers 100x better then what it is now

I want to see Deathstroke as a villain in a movie. He was great on Arrow and is basically evil Batman. Tho rather see Batman V Red Hood who is sort of the same thing but has the extra baggage of being one of Bruces sons.

I don't know I just don't think its as bad as people are making it out to be. I remember walking out of Sucker Punch and Iron Man 3 like WTF just happened !!! This just was a fun brainless action movie like Transformers.

Did Diablo die? He was under the bomb but wasn't he that weird fire monster? If he did so they basically killed off everyone we thought they would haha

Also when Deadshot is told to shoot Harley and does.... and she lifeless !! I almost flipped out. Its like with this bullshit direction DC going in I wouldnt put it past them to kill Harley and Joker in the movie then have Batman and Robin be gay lovers.

Yeap, I felt like Idris Elba was completely under-utilized, unlike Benedict Cumberbatch in the 2nd one.

But I'd still give future Star Trek movies another shot. The 3rd one was not a great movie by all means, but it wasn't that bad either.

Really I liked all 3 of them. I feel they are unfairly crapped on. Star Wars was the same exact movie as the 1st movie yet everyone loves it. Star Trek have all had Better villains with reasons they are bad. Star Wars they are evil because we need someone evil. Eric Bana was awesome in the 1st one

When is the last good comedy that was out!? Will Ferrel, Ben stiller and those guys seem like they've passed it and don't even get started on Adam Sandler. I dont like Kevin Hart and every comedy these days appear to have him in it. Comedy really sucks at the minute.
