I liked the first 2 enough to enjoy them once and then forget about him. Even tho they are very unStarTrekkish, full of plotholes and have many cliches, like a 1 on 1 battle at the end.

Star trek beyond feels more like a ST should be, but it also feels like one of the more shittier episodes. Also, nothing in it is original. Even the *bees/swarm* was done before in ST.

I don't understand what are they trying to do here - trekkis are mad because these movies are full of references and callbacks to the old Star Treks, but nothing new happens and some actors are underperforming (actress playing uhura :S)...while others are saying all 3 movies have certain formulas they follow, so it has become all predictable in the 3rd one.

Ugh, and the dialogue. Simon Pegg isn't as funny as he thinks he is.

Check out What We Do In the Shadows or Hunt for the Wilderpeople. Not a straight up comedy but both Deadpool and Nice Guys have been funny this year

Thanks ill check those out. I remember in the space of a few months there was Step brothers, role models and i think Wedding crashers and i was thinking things literally couldn't get better. I was right

I have a feeling people go into these superhero movies and deiced against enjoying a fun movie because they want a more mature or dark experience people get in dramas and and recent tv shows, or even recent comic book movies for that matter. [like the recent superman or dark knight]

Batman v superman was a mess tho. Star trek and dc universe have the same problem - they are trying to get new fans while appeasing old fans. They are also trying to be dark for the sake of dark (Nolan did it better) to be different from Marvel, but then they drop Suicide Squad, which has the same structure as Avengers....

So not going to cinema for Suicide Squad. I believe when some of you saying it's not worth it. Lot of people say it's lame, like with BvS, which was super lame.

I think it's worth it entertainment-wise. Generally it could have been better and people often expect a bit too much.

After all those many teasers they released, high expectations will be there in no time. It depends on them whether they can match the hype they made themselves.

If having fun characters with good dynamics is enough for you to enjoy a film you should see it. However, if plot, pacing, and editing are things which are important to you than skip it.

Watching a movie like Suicide Squad, I expect it to be at least entertaining and watchable, everything else would be a plus.

I expected more from the director, but it could be that it wasn't his fault - the script was okay at best even with all the scenes that were cut out by the meddling DC officials that demanded reshoots and postponned the movie.

I am looking forward to Doctor Strange. Casting sounds fantastic (that awesome Danish actor, Ejiofor, Swinton) and trailers looked fine to me.

suicide squad holy shit, what a shit show, they tried to do all marvel movies (hulk 1, 2, thor 1/2, ironman 1/2 etc) in 3 minutes introduction scenes.

Trailer looks great, but if SS has shown us anything it's that they can be deceiving. Definitely a little worried about it given the supposed issues with reshoots etc, especially because I didn't enjoy Gareth Edward's other films. I definitely like the whole war film vibe though, but I bet Disney won't let it be too dark

One of things containing Rogue will be Leia's story am I right? I think they won't dissapoint at least.

Lord of the Rings is 1 billion times better then Star Wars. Watch it without Nostalgia goggles on and its 1 good movie out of 6. OR 2 our 7 depending how you felt about Force Awakens. I see it as New Hope 1.5
