Its football marketing 101. Cm's,cb's and lb/rb's don't excite fans. Sunning some kind of marque signing to show the fans they are serious. They either need to sign a established star or an exciting prospect.

Haha wow

So let's say we get Azpilicueta, Mascherano (for cb), Matić, Kroos and Darmian. Are you saying fans would not be excited?

I bet only hardcore fans have even heard about Gabriel Barbosa. He doesn't have any marketing value for us.

I'm not a hardcore fan and I've heard about him since long time ago. I even mentioned him a couple of time on the forum. So yea, Gabigol has been around for a long time. But, it wasn't until recently that I started to hear about Gabriel Jesus.

gabigol is not creativity and technique!

Technique as in the ability to perform in an excellent way the physical gesture he's set on doing, not technique as if he were good at dribbling.
I also consider him creative as his talent as a forward allows him to do unexpected things that others wouldn't do. He is athletic, but I expect him to bulk up a little once he arrives in Europe.

You are in this forum, you are a hardcore fan.

I thought you meant a hardcore fan of Santos or Brasilian league.

Anyways, I think bringing in a young promising Brasilian forward in itself could be a great marketing.

He has played in all attacking positions with success, but even if he has scored goals as the sole man upfront in Santos in the past - he has very good finishing skills, after all - I prefer him playing somewhere else other than in the striker position. I think his skills are put to better use when he's moving around than when he's deployed as a sole striker.

More important than a previously given static position on a tactical formation, though, is that he fares significantly better when he's given freedom to run and to position himself in the pitch. If he does come to Inter, I'm concerned about the need for tactical discipline, which is a given in Serie A, and how may that affect Gabriel's performance.

Hopefully he is too smart to realise time difference between brazil and italy so he misses out the deadline..

Kroos is a galatico so the general fan would be excited for him but I doubt the general fans will get up for the others.

One of the two biggest Brazilian talents currently. Pretty easy to market if you ask me...

It's true it's pretty easy to market him and it's seems like he even have a right caracter for it. After Neymar most fans gets really hyped up for strikers from barzil and most of them think they got the next big thing. If he comes here now or January I think he'll need atleast 2-3 months to settle down and making any improvent in our team.

gabigol is limited player, poor creative and dribble is a fact!!!

SO we don't have enough money for Joao Mario and now we have enough money for gabigol? This is stupid.
