Di Marzio: #Inter are more and more confident in signing #Gabigol. The decision could come as early as tomorrow!

Sky - #Gabigol prefers to join #Inter. There's optimism.

In Brasil they say he is on his way to Italy to finish the deal but he wants to stay until December.

What's the point if we have another good not great South American striker in Icardi?

I feel zero hype for this guy, hell, even negative.

Especially when you think of the fact that we're going to pass on a pretty proven striker in Jovetic for almost half the price for this nobody, who on top of everything would probably come mid-season from the fucking Brasileiro, so he'll be useless for at least 6 months.

Inter are closing in on Santos striker Gabriel Barbosa or “Gabigol”; after weeks of negotiations, it seems the 19-year old Brazilian has finally chosen the nerazzurri over Juventus.

GABIGOL ARRIVES IN ITALY:
The youngster’s decision to head to Italy for talks with Inter representatives has taken everyone by surprise; now the nerazzurri can concentrate on closing the deal despite the player’s want to remain in Brazil until the end of the domestic championship in December.

ALL THE DETAILS:
The player will cost €25 million plus bonuses that will be divided between Santos and his family (who own part of his registration). The contract on the table for Gabigol is a five-year one worth €2.5 million a season and after discussions with the respective parties, this has already received a favourable response. Inter knows that without signatures, nothing is official so they will be desperate to close out the operation whilst the player is in Italy.

So now it's 2.5m annual salary? These figures change all the time. Hopefully it ends up being something closer to 1.5m.

Confirmation from Di Marzio:

Di Marzio – Gabigol flying to Milano to finalize Inter move

More and more media outlets confirm that Inter have all but signed Gabigol from Santos.

This time it’s transferguru Gianluca Di Marzio who reports on his homepage that Gabigol is on his way to Milano to finalize the negotiations that would see him sign for Inter. According to Di Marzio “the last offer was made in a meeting with his agent Wagner and his father Vladimir pushed them to taking this step: € 25 million where a part goes to Santos and a part to the family. With bonuses. A 5-year deal is ready for the player.”

The move doesn’t seem like it will be made just yet as “Santos will ask Inter to keep the player until January as that is the youngster’s wishes but the Nerazzurri will try to have him straight away. This is what filters from his entourage as we await to find out what the results of this blitz and these meetings are, the player is travelling to visit club structures and eventually for his medicals (only an hypothesis if everything were to go well and a deal struck).”

How do we all of a sudden have 25 million to spend? Where's UEFA?

Apparently, we have 70m to spend because Joao Mario is coming to Milan to close the deal as well according to some reports. Fuck logic.

FFP is only an excuse. We have money and we are allowed to spend it, just that we cant spend wisely. I have bad feelings about this fella and I hope he proves me wrong.

When I look at him I feel like he is such a show off. He seems more interested in the glamour surrounding football than football itself so I'm affraid he joins the list of talented Brasilians who never fulfilled their potential.

But then remember that Neymar was even a bigger show off and he turned out fine so hopefully Gabigol will manage to keep his head in the game.

He has such a punchable face just like Neymar.

P.S. In noway am I comparing them qualitywise.

This bearded woman has alot of gall to call himself 'Gabigol' before he's even reached any level to warrant that. Why wasn't Neymar nicknamed Neymargol ?
