Mourinho all time 11 was posted from some BS english tabloid, Interestingly I got in an argument with my friends they are arsenal fans. Although players like Carvalho and Terry are great and legends respectively Samuel IMHO is a better CB than both of them. Tougher case on Carvalho but still what are your guys thoughts? Am I blinded for my love of IL MURO?

IMHO youre right. Samuel is so much better then Carvalho....with Terry, hmmmm it's a tie...i can't decide.
I think, Mou is more fond of Carvalho, cuz he was with Mou for longer time, first at Porto, then Chelsea, and Mou won a lot of games with him, so maybe that's why he chose him.

I actually dont rate terry too highly he wasnt particularly smart or fast he was physically imposing but Samuel is a smart classy defender i dont remember too many games where he got beat.

Obviously the defender who has successfully won the CL with Mourinho is better than the others. If they're as good as him then they would've won it too.

So Carvallho and Samuel?
Anyways I would pick Samuel out of the three simply coz i never rated terry that much and when compared to carvallho i just think that Samuel was on a Worldclass level for more years than the portugese.

Samuel also still wins. His performances were abnormal. Things you would only see from names like Maldini, Baresi, Cannavaro, Zanetti, and Bergomi. Nobody in the world dares to doubt that the triple Inter fully deserved winning everything performance-wise, not even the biggest Inter haters. There were no lucky incidents that have crucially let Inter go throw (2010). It was all purely above world class performances by key players like Samuel.

Also let's not forget that Samuel was already a world class defender long before he joined Inter. Mostly only his Real Madrid days were underforming.

if (and i repeat: IF) someone can teach andrea ranocchia how to defend, that's walter samuel. he's the only one who can at least try such a nearly impossible task. :eek:blivious:

welcome back Wally.

Yeah but back then his job was to play, now it is to teach.

However, I was saying that more for the sake of the joke.

I'm very glad Samuel is back, he can really teach a lot, not only to the defenders but to every player, in terms of fighting spirit.

According to Gazetta Walter Samuel will get our new Coach assistent.

:proud:

Cambiasso next please.

Good news fellow FIF members :interscarf::rules::epicwin:

Walter Samuel returns home. After Javier Zanetti, who has not really ever gone, Dejan Stankovic, who returned to the base after the experience as deputy Stramaccioni in Udine, with The Wall Inter can count on an operating role in the company's three heroes of the treble. According to a report in this morning's edition of the Corriere dello Sport, the former Argentine defender will play the role of observer, going to strengthen the scouting area (led by Mirabelli supervised by Piero Aid) and by monitoring the players to buy for the first team.

- I guess this is a temporary role until he completes his coaching school.
