I couldn't give a shit about his price tag. I almost never mention he is overpriced, probably never even mentioned it. My issue is only one, Joao Mario is an average player who we don't need at Inter right now.
I don't know what you see in Mario, but Mario has been poor in many sectors. Most of his passes are ala Medel, sideways or backwards. He also always requires an extra touch on the ball. He can't really play 1-2, most of times when he plays 1-2 it is screwed up. When he lost the ball, he rarely tracked back. His shooting is worse than amateur level.
Oh, I gave him credits in the beginning of his Inter career because he gave a glimpse of hope but then he disappeared completely. Rafinha is a risk but you can see the technique is there, at least Rafinha thinks quickly about what to do with the ball. Rafinha scored 2 goals and gave 3 assists in 17 matches, whereas Mario scored 3 goals with 5 assists in 1 season. Rafinha is probably a big gamble, but I rather take a gamble on a player who is willing to fight than a lazy asshole.
Cancelo is a different matter. Cancelo's honeymoon period was worse, he played super bad, it was so bad until he wanted to go back to Valencia. However, he stayed and improved. Again, I'd rather gamble on someone who fights for their cause than one who just fades away when situation isn't in his favour.
