Holy shit, I'd sleep and shower with that on, never take it off.

I want it.

I'm shaking my head right now as I'm hearing music, the middle lines look like the rainbow equalizer of winamp playing Gangnam style

Wobblz once again proving himself to be an infinitely better designer than I ever even tried to be. Is it wrong that I've been in the industry for a decade and I don't even have a clue how you made that image? Some kind of photoshops perhaps? :einstein:

I suppose there's a reason I gradually transitioned to t̶h̶e̶ ̶o̶t̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶s̶e̶x̶ an advertising and marketing role.

This is literally "Something like, 8 years mashed together, but not so lame"

(Nike's design by the way, not Wobblzinho)

I pray that you’ll be hired as a Nike designer. It’s even better than Atlético’s

Even better? Theres no comparison! I actually hate the Atleti version (and I usually like their kits!) and Im in love with this one. Make you wonder why we got the wires on the jersey instead of this.

Okay, since you guys liked it I fixed the stripes (they were fucked on the collar, they still are but I can't be fucked to spend more time) as well as the blue rim on the logo which was also off and I've included a full-body mockup as well.

I really like blue socks, I have no idea why we dont use them anymore (last time in 2008/09). That’s a perfect kit.

Great job, that looks awesome! Agreed on the blue socks, looks way better.
Also there is a talk that we will be picking up a sleeve sponsor as well. Unsure of the details but I doubt that will make our kit look better.

Yet, here you are, creative directing me :yao: Also, "tried" is the key word in your sentence.

It's the same mockup I used for the "starry" kits back in the day, it's 3D image with smart layers on top of the respective parts of the kit, inside them there are flat canvases that get warped on top of the model, no magic. This is also why it gets fucking twisted like that around the collar, middle stripe doesn't quite align properly, shitty mapping.

Speaking of that "starry" concept kit, I did contact anyone I could find, knowing fully that's it's absolutely futile to expect an answer. I didn't get any. Corporations like Nike don't care one bit about "fan art" and kits like those or the ones Rupert churns out every month. Understandably so, they have a business to run.

If I ran the design department over there, I'd be more than willing to crowdsource ideas and basically exploit the shit out of fans, why not? Anyway, Adidas already used a similar starry concept for Real so that train has long departed.

I'll try some more designs when I have the time, I've forgotten how fun it was to make kits for our fav team, sooo if you have any ideas you want me to try please go ahead. (Exploiting the fans, remember? Won't even give you a ride in my Bentley when I become filthy rich off of your ideas)

Nike apparently dont take submission ideas for deisgns, i think they either work with like freelancers or in house employees. And to be fair if they have to look at submission designs it will take forver since they will be getting them from all over the world. I think it makes sense if u have instagram and just post designs there, if u have a large following and people tag the clubs and brands, they will notice that way.

Your submission does not meet the required criteria of our Idea Submission Program. The only external ideas Nike considers are those covered by an issued utility patent, utility model, or a pending non-provisional utility patent application.
Nike does not accept or review slogans. Accordingly, any materials that you may submit, or have submitted to Nike will be returned to you without consideration.
We wish you the best in your future business endeavors.
Sincerely,
Nike Idea Submissions Team

All three GK kits for the current season are now available. Nice little video, everyone's life idol Berni is included.

According to Corriere, Inter will wear the 20th anniversary jersey in the derby della Madonnina. I sincerely hope it's simply another bs report of theirs. The alternative is just unthinkable.

That mashup shirt is a complete utter pile of steaming dog diarrhea. Our shirts have always been pretty, that shirt never had to be made public, let alone worn in the fucking derby.

After the Chinese names on the back I wondered can it get any weirder? It obviously can.

As I've said before, the problem isn't the concept so much as the execution. Barca, Arsenal and Zenit all have a kit with the same "20 years of shirts mashed into one" concept. But theirs are just way fucking better than our piece of shit.

I think that Zenit one in particular looks very nice (as a one-off special edition kit).

Because of our consistency in vertical stripes, there might be less room for experimentation, but I'm fucking adamant they could've done a better job than that piece of shit they put together for ours.

It's as if they were like, "Hey design team, we're going with this 'different shirts spliced together' concept for Arsenal, Zenit, Barca and Inter. We've got 3 weeks to make it happen." and then they spent 1 week each on the other teams shirts and 30 minutes on ours. Fucking ludicrously poor shirt.

The Barca & Arsenal mash up shirts look like early nineties keeper shirts.

Anywho, surely there's a better way to 'celebrate' 20 years with Nike. Surely ?!
