Fantastic day for us. Getting Sanchez and Biraghi. Shipping off Mario, Dalbert, and hopefully Gabigol. I am hoping we can ship Borja off too, but I guess it is to good to be true, so I can't complain. He does not look the type of people complaining in a bench too, given his age, and with his salary, its hard to expect some mid table club would after him. He can be useful too as a sub in case some of our midfielders injured.

i am not. i am supporting the mercato vision of our leadership team. dalbert,mario,icardi etc are not wanted by conte. want to see them leave. good luck to them in rest of careers,no hard feelings

If stupid neymar goes to barca or real...it may end up in one last flurry of transfers in the next few days - otherwis it does seem like all may be quiet on the continental front.

With Alexis and Biraghi, we are reasonably covered in all positions, except for the central midfield where our bench option are quite underwhelming. It should addressed in the winter mercato, specially if we are in hunt for scudetto by that time and are in further stages of the CL.

Meh, decent mercato overall but once again fail to complete it. I don’t think the squad is good enough it’s as simple as that, we have improved over last season no doubt irrespective of what people say ( Godin, Barella, Sensi and Alexis all better than their counterparts from last season) but overall we’re still going to have to depend on Conte’s magic.

I guess much still depends on the Icardi situation. I know a lot has been said here about it but whatever the outcome is the way I see it is simple: if we sell him we have to spend that money on a good player. If we keep him he has to be fully integrated in the squad I don’t give a shit what he’s done, he would help us massively on the pitch . And the thing is him and Lukaku could play together as well, I was extremely impressed by Lukaku’s unselfishness and creation of chances for his teammates and who better to finish them than.........Icardi

Yeah, Kurt. Sorry to spoil it to you but it's not happening.

The only reinforcement we should've had and could still have, mind you the transfer window isn't closed for a couple more days, is a midfielder. Who knows, maybe we'll get Vidal. Maybe not. Still, I think the transfer activity is more than enough for one summer. We are pretty much sorted and Rome wasn't built in a day. Suning didn't disappoint and opened their wallets big time, we can be calm about their commitment to the club, so only big things await us in the following couple of mercatos, I have no doubt about it.

At this point, I wouldn't mind if we sell Icardi to Rube for Matuidi + Mandzukic plus 60m. Rube want to get rid of their salaries, and as long as the deals are short term or loans, we need 2 players like those. IMO Matuidi is very underrated and he will fit in well in Conte's style - that should complete our midfield. And Mandzukic is a much better striker than the ones we are linked with (Llorente, Matri FFS).

if barca are getting neymar and rakitic may be going to PSG as part of the deal (as rumored) - then no chance vidal is coming here. so we may be done in the midfield - unless dybala goes to PSG and juve finally buy icardi
