Let's hope we get more serious in the 2nd half because Lazio is bound to bite us in the ass. If they put Correa early on for Caicedo we're going to have trouble, need an early second goal in the 2nd half.

10 years of FIFWell deserved lead for us in this first half. Both of Lautaro and Barella are underperforming so far. I would give Alexis a whole second half as he was pretty good against Milan, in fact he was the only one who did good things in first half while the rest were absolutely dogshit.
I would give Barella some more minutes before subbing him off. He can still bounce back as he did against Milan in the second half.
Gotta give credit to Vecino in the first half. He was pretty good though.

Our defence has been pretty solid against a top scoring team... our weakest link is padelli.. my arse quivers everytime Lazio get near the goal or makes a shot!!!

How is it an unfair result? We've played excellently. With the exception of a few minor blemishes (couple misplaced passes, allowing SMS room to shoot once) we've done a superb job.
Admittedly it's not a particularly fast paced game like against Milan, but we've crowded them out and matched their intensity. Luis Alberto, SMS, Immobile and Caicedo have been completely neutralized so far. The only Lazio players even on the screen are the WB's.
Of the 3 midfielders, they've all been good more or less, but Barella's made a few bad decisions with the ball. That said, we probably can't afford to lose any of their defensive input. Unless Lazio pull a comeback and take the lead, I suspect Eriksen will come on for Lautaro and we'll go 3511.
