I think Alexis could only play if we were in absolute need of a goal, if we are dominating the game he won't play. He've got to win the Scudetto next season so it would be dumb to risk his fitness. We should remember that he was out for most of this season and we still managed to come 2nd behind Rube, I can only imagine what we will do with a fit Alexis Sanchez :troll:

Spot on Mate! That is exactly why she agreed to it because she thought we’d never come close to winning something let alone make a final.

Reasons I want us to win:

- Handanovic deserves a trophy
- Winning breeds winning. Let's start a cycle.
- Gives us the chance to win the only major trophy we've never won: the European Super Cup
- Winning would mean that the most recent Italian winners of both European trophies are us, despite Juve's dominance and our banter era.
- I bought this year's home jersey when I went to Milan for the derby in February. I'd like to associate it with a trophy.
- It's been too long.

Still, it's the only one we've never won, and a reason I'd like to win the EL.

So this is it I guess. 10 years after our heroic treble win we have the chance to triumph in another european final. After almost a decade of banter era we are finally close to winning some silverware again.
I can see it in front of my inner eye. It will be a slow start to the game, both teams will be careful not to make the first mistake. Eventually the game will open up a bit and we will take the lead via a Lautaro goal around the 30 min mark. We will defend with 10 men behind the ball, making the spaces super tight in front of our goal until the ref blows the whistle and sends both teams back into the cabins. I can see Sevilla putting on the pressure in the second half and we’ll score on a counter attack. Late in the game the spaniards might be able to get one back, but it’s too little, too late. We are victorious and lift the trophy towards the sky.

I'm still bitter about us losing it to Atletico back in 2010. I wanted that extra trophy.
