You can call it punishment if he sits on the bench over the next couple of games and enters at the 95th minute.

Yes, in the next game should be Sensi starting. Otherwise it's soft.

What did we expect? There was a reason Bayern wasn't unhappy to sell him to Barcelona and the Spaniards wanted to get rid of him.

Can't wait to see him next season ... Thank God he only earns peanuts.

Flop of the season so far for me considering the expectations. He has done more harm than good this season. If he wasn't Conte's poster boy he would have already been dropped from the starting lineup.

Antonio Conte told Arturo Vidal: ‘Just play and stop bothering me' as the Chile midfielder kept complaining with the referee after he had given away a penalty kick against Crotone.

Vidal mistimed the tackle on Arkadiusz Reca and the referee awarded a penalty to the visitors following the VAR on-field review after 35 minutes in the first half.

The former Barcelona and Juventus star complained with the referee after Vladimir Golemic had converted the penalty, but Conte told him to shut up.

“Just play and stop bothering me,” the Italian tactician told Vidal after Crotone had scored the equaliser.

Lautaro Martinez’s restored Inter’s lead in the second half with Romelu Lukaku who scored the Nerazzurri’s fourth goal after 64 minutes.

I wasn't harsh on him unlike many of you. But today's the first time I say enough is enough.

Just shut up and play. This is Inter Milan, not Inter Miami. No one gives a shit about how good your Instagram looks if you don't perform on the pitch.

And there was a guy that was one of those self proclaimed experts on individual players - you know the type, said in a post that Vidal was better than Messi in Barca, but Barca policies made him suffer :D

He is just not reliable enough to deserve to start games for us. Worse than Gags.

He has become slower, and that fraction of a second delay is sometimes the difference between a good challenge and a stupid foul. His body cannot keep up with his mind anymore. He needs to adapt to his physical decline asap, and stop making challenges in the penalty area. And that backtalk with the referee needs to stop. Fucker has learnt nothing from his red card in the CL. Even Conte looked annoyed with Vidal's attitude today.

Vidal needs to sort out his fucking head. A few games on the bench should help.

Vidal was never a high IQ player, he's always been overly-reliant on his athleticism now with that failing him looks like he's being exposed. I still rate Vidal highly because in terms of fight and will to win there's few better. But the few good thing he's done have been overshadowed by such idiocy. While he can still make clean challenges (see tackle in lead up to 2nd goal) here and there he should adapt his game accordingly. In the mean time he should be banished to the bench and below Gagliardini in the pecking order.

Never liked the signing, unlike the Darmian one that I questioned. Has done nothing really to justify the signing so far.

Vidal is the more expensive version of Felipe Melo.

And unlike Felipe Melo, this guy probably will be hating on Inter and praising Juventus when he leaves.

Enough with this hearsay. Quotes or stfu.

I Missed the penalty incident but I'm glad with Conte's response. Vidal is the kind of idiot to believe to much in his own hype. He is paste it. He should remain humble. Either fucking way. We won. Lm10 scored a perfect hattrick. 9win in a row. Be glad you miserable bastards

Clearly a liability in do-or-die games at this point, but long term if he is working and running his ass off, he should be a net positive over the course of the season. Lethargy is a real problem in league competitions, especially during the middle of the season. We need players who bring grit and enthusiasm to the team.

Having said that, I haven't watched any games the past 2 months, so can't comment on the quality of his play. He might just be shit and enthusiastic.

Vidal was never a high IQ player ...

He's 33 and has a Mohawk. I think that says a lot about him.

While he can still make clean challenges (see tackle in lead up to 2nd goal) ...

That was really great. But it feels like the chances are 50:50 that he pulls out a great tackle or a terrible foul ...
