About to win the first major title of his career and especially after all the excruciating adjustments he had to make for Conte and Serie A. Happy for all these guys.

Class. His movement is almost as good as his finish.

If people still claim he is not good enough and doesnt bring anything to this team, coz he "aint a fighter", they are becoming blind haters.

Super important goal even though it was a deflection, but I'm still not impressed by his overall performance. Sensi brought much more dinamisym in our game for 60min compare to Eriksen last couple of games. Anyway if Eriksen keeps scoring decisive goals regularly, he should be considered as important first team player and I'll definitely stop criticizing him.

There we go, i know the 4 of you (i think you guys were 4), even if he scores hattrick, will not bring much to the team :D in terms of spirit and stuff.

at least the goal was showing his strengths, also I thought he was actually one of the best players on the pitch the second he stepped on it

Well he showed much more passion for play from the moment he scored that goal against Milan in Coppa. Then also his confidence was high as in good Spurs days. And also we must say that Conte realized we can't sell him, so he gave him a bigger chance.

Today everyone speaks he is better in Conte's system now etc. For me he is the same like in that Ludogorets game last February, just with what what I mentioned before, bigger passion and self-confidence.

Yes my ass, Eriksen in 5 minutes did more than Sensi in 60.

He is never going to be the fighter type. We have others in the team that can do the hard work. He adds the class that this team needs at times. How may tackles did pirlo make a season again...

Don't have one.
This is just a question of salary for me, the kind of salary he has, he should have a barella type of influence in our team, and that's not the case imo.

If we sign another starting mid next season like wijnaldum, which I think will happen, then he will again be promoted to a rotational player, and could we or should we accept a rotational player to have that sort of salary?

If marrota does the math and the answer to that question is yes, then I would be more than happy if he stays.

I’d say he’s gradually building towards that influence, similar to other matches in recent weeks we were better as soon as he came on/ better with him on despite barella.

Conte just needs to spend more time with him and hakimi to polish them off a little more.

I've been very critical as I'm sure a lot of you know, but contributing like he did tonight is what I expect. Grande cros, well done

Why would we need to sign another midfielder? The position we need to most if Conte stays is a proper LWB, backup CB and Lukaku's backup. Midfielder is the least of our problem, if anything we should work hard on offloading Vidal and one of Vecino and Gagliardini before thinking of signing another midfielder.
