Quite the opposite if I'm not mistaken he played more as right winger than as a cm for them plus he's pretty agile. His crossing isn't good thoI don't really understand this one. Nandez makes sense a vice Brozovic to me. He's good defensively and can pass reasonably well. But as a RWB? He's way too slow and clumsy when running with the ball.
If i am not mistaken, he's more similar to Vidal than Brozovic.I don't really understand this one. Nandez makes sense a vice Brozovic to me. He's good defensively and can pass reasonably well. But as a RWB? He's way too slow and clumsy when running with the ball.
He’s a bit of a grinta merchant who was experimented as a wide player, not because he can cross or dribble, but because he can mindlessly run up and down the flank all day.
Either way I’m with cafechod on this one. Nandez is definitely closest to Barella IMO.
Even in these circumstances I would be disappointed to end up with a right flank of Nandez, Darmian and god forbid D’Ambrosio, but he’d be a useful addition to squad. Doubly so if we can fuck off shitters like Nainggolan, Dalbert or Pinamonti in the process.
Honestly, if this was the 90’s/early 2000’s I would have been okay with it since we still had ‘Goombas’ like Di Livio and R.Carlos running aroundTo me he's most close to Barella.
And yeah, he played 18x as RWB, 10x as CM and 4x as LWB last season.
This kind of flexible players are valuable. I still have an issue with his height.
