Like I said, it's the thrill of the unknown. We've seen Correa in Serie A for 3 years now. Sometimes he'll light it up like he did against Milan and juve, sometimes he'll look like Belfodil. I guess people are just not willing to rely on Correa, especially at the rumored price point.

Thuram on the other hand is a largely unknown quality to most of us. Not to mention he's cheaper and younger. Come on, Cafe, everyone likes to roll the dice now and then 😀

Imo, yes. They are wrong. Correa is the typical low risk low reward option from Serie A our management usually makes because they're afraid to take risks. Correa is 27 year old, inconsistent and he has, more or less, reached his peak which isn't impressive at all. They're only going for him because the coach wants him. On top of it, he costs 40m!

I find the option of Thuram a lot more exciting who is younger, cheaper, has already reached Correa numbers, has potential and offers more flexibility to our attack.

As Uni mentioned, Thuram isn't more impressive than Correa at the moment. But it has the unknown potential/gamble which makes it more attractive.

Another point to consider here is the impact that a new formation and coach can have on the player. Inzaghi and playing in the center with a strike partner could work wonders for Thuram, as we saw with Lukaku. However with Correa we have already seen this, so there isn't a lot of room to improve there.

Agree with everything, but something tells me if thuram flops he will flop much harder than correa ever could imo. High risk, high reward type of thing. Definitely a thing to take into consideration in a season where there is already a lot of unknowns...

If we intend on going with a two striker formation, Thuram should be the pick. But if Inzaghi plans on proceeding with the formation used today, we absolutely should buy Correa. Either way, seems like we're heading towards a late window Moratta masterclass for Correa.

I'm kind of more pumped up about Thuram, but considering that Correa is probably Inzaghi's preferred option and no one at the club usually seems to give a fuck what he wants it might not be bad to get him that one player. Still prefer the French...

i dont get this correa and thuram for 30 mill. i mean milan went and got striker for 1 mill with option of 6 mill and these idiots zannetti marotta wants to pay 30 million while you can get a player for like milan 5 -10 mill that can do same thing as 30 million guy
