Aren't you guys worried about the lack of physicality in midfield with the current rumors ?
Not that i want Gagliardini , Vecino and Vidal here but you could use them in some tough/physical match ups , for example Gaglia vs Savic for the headers , Vidal vs Juve etc.
If we would be signing Xavi and Iniesta i would live with the fact that we are going full technical players but that is not the case with the likes of Mikha and Asllani
Miki is fast and technical, with good passing. Maybe not as physical as Vidal, but what Vidal's physicality gave to the team last year? I agree that DM need to be physical as well, but I don't think Miki is gonna back up Brozo.

If anything, we should be happy we are finally taking a break from having players whose only characteristic is their physically.

Agreed. Ever since we let Mancini and Conte contribute to squad construction, we've been stuck with these grinta merchants with little in the way of technical ability. If we want to be competitive in Europe we need more players who can beat their man and provide a creative spark.

The one position I want a physical replacement for is vice Brozovic.

Only Inter buys these one dimensional workhorses with zero other attributes. Elsewhere you'll find players of excellent technique and physicality too. Look at De Paul for example (we declined to sign him for 5 yearly instalments of €7m btw). Guy fights hard and plays dirty when it's required but has great skill too.

Once Vidal leaves our entire midfield unit is full of pussies. Tonali is arguably my most hated player right now and a complete fuckwit on the pitch, but he has a lot of tenacity and gamesmanship. As shit as Vecino was, even he was good for an odd filthy tackle here and there.

I think lotus chick is targeted as a replacement of 5G, and he looks like physical player too.
As Dave mentioned, Vidal wasn't quite physical last season.

You need the right balance between physicality and technique in midfield. Both are needed.

We didn't decline to buy De Paul, Conte didn't want him at the time...

I want another Vidal type so that he can play next to Brozo when needed. Sometimes our midfield is too pussy

lol - Isnt that the same thing?
Unfortunately, yes.
But not in principle. The idea is that Inter wanted to sign him but the coach vetoed it.

It's like with Kaka and Cuper. He vetoed the move coz he didn't fit the flat 4-4-2. It's not like you go around say you don't want player A or B. The management identifies them, hence wants the player, and then the coach says no. It should be more clear when it comes to rejecting a player.

Roberto Gagliardini is another possible goal of Monza.
[via @Gazzetta_it]

#Inter’s flanks will be Gosens-Darmian on one side, Dumfries-Bellanova on the other. If an important offer arrives for Dumfries, #Inter can sign another fullback and are keeping themselves aware of other opportunities, such as Udogie and Cambiaso.

PSG Offer €60M For Milan Skriniar But Inter Holding Out For €80M
[Tuttosport]

Udinese ask €20M to sell Destiny Udogie. #Inter are trying to secure the player on a deal for 2023.

if walter sabatini had consistency and patience he would clear the team from players
and would close Asilani and other youngster deals with ALMOST perfect terms

Ausillio in the other hand, will give them high salaries
which will make the process of getting rid of them HARD in case these deals failed.

intermilan is failing due to ausillio bad deals and his failures to get rid of players in the right time.

Verona's sporting director is at our HQ. Guarro is saying they are interested in Carboni.

Hmm is that new Scrubs guy playing with wingbacks for Udinese? I doubt Carboni will bench Lazovic, but it will be interesting to see how quickly he adapts to serie A.
