I do not think it is happening because we are not going to be able to shipout Sanchez, Dzeko and/or Correa.
I do not the truth of the rumours but there was a report a couple of days ago that Sanchez has taken offence at the club's stand and decision to move him on. As for Dzeko, I have heard rumours of clubs being interested but it has not gone any further than that.
What really stands out for me at the moment is that our plans for the future, especially where Dybala are concerned, very much depend on the departures of one of Sanchez or Dzeko and what we all know is that it is hard for players to leave when their wages are so high.
If they decide to dig their heels in as a result of feeling that the club is mistreating them, or decide to stay simply because they know no other club will match their current wages, then Dybala's potential move will be sabotaged.
The dynamics here are also very interesting. For example, the fact Dybala allegedly does not want any other club. Is that down to the fact that we are in the Champions League; the chance of playing alongside his fellow countrymen; or a sign that he wants to exact revenge on Juventus by playing for their greatest rivals?
Also, the fact that he has not been linked to any other club might be down to: (1) him not wanting to go anywhere else; or (2) his agent's exorbitant fees have put off other potential suitors.
There is also the added pressure of Milan waiting in the wings even though he would in all likelihood be too expensive for their strict wage structure.
Just on Milan, whether they are a real option or not is not really the point. The pressure is psychological: just like with last season's Scudetto, they could creep up on us and take what we thought was ours. And in the context of Dybala, who is a player that we really want that would be a significant upgrade on what we had last season.
