Iheanacho? Type of player who would work well paired alongside another forward. Only 26-27 years old. Certainly capable of minimum 15 goals (10 outfield + 5 penalties). Good finishing and physical game, linkup is above average, not particularly fast or good at dribbling. Could be a revelation with consistent football.
since when Iheanacho score more than 9 goals per season in his career?! even Petagna Monza, Cessay Lecce or Massimo Coda Genoa can do better job on scoring rather than Iheanacho.

Don't have one.
I don't understand why we shall pay 30mln for Taremi when we can have him for free after a season?
30 mln is absolutely ridiculous for him. Don't give a fuck about his goal scoring record, you just don't pay that much for a 31 yr dude from portuguese league on one year left on his contract, like wtf...

Biggest scrubs scored well over 30 goals in that league and didn't amount to anything when they needed to make a big step-up to a league like seria a or premier league.

No one is paying 30m€ for Taremi. But we need a striker now, not next summer. Or maybe we need a striker next summer aswell, but it's not like Taremi is the one we absolutely want no matter when. Timing is the key, we want a player now.

I think this is a bit of a management fuckup to bank on Lukaku signing this hard that they dind't have a proper plan B and C in place. Of course the biggest blame goes to that fucking treacherous cunt but management's read of the situation wasn't great. They got played.

If Inter purchase a 31 year old player with one year left on the contract for 2/3 the price of Scamacca and about half that of Balogun, they are more incompetent then I thought possible.
At this rate we will sign Taremi for more than we offered for Scamacca.

Haha. Honestly it wouldn't surprise if this drags on to the last week or something.

Orban is exactly the type of player who we have the opportunity to sign at €20m, but choose not to, and then joins Real Madrid one year later for €60m and becomes a superstar. Grow some balls, take a punt and sign him. Balogun looks an absolute fucking paraplegic compared to Orban.

I disagree with what you said about Balogun. It's true Orban looks like he has a higher cieling but they both have superstar potential. You should worry more about the management fucking up this opportunity and signing neither. Instead going for Taremi or beto.

Either way, we'll have to take a gamble.

Balogun -> more expensive + surely he'll ask a nice salary too & Unproven in big team. High ceiling and potential resale value to premier League
Taremi -> quite expensive for a 31 year old & Unproven in big league, but proven for big team in that league. No resale value
Orban -> less expensive than above, less salary. High ceiling but also unproven in big league. Best move for him is Lille/France.

All 3 are gambles, but imo Orban is then the best gamble for the money we got. He can be the back up to both Thuram & Toro. Who knows, maybe he'll end up like David & Osimhen. Worst case he's a second CDK.

No Milan player
so arsenal is trying to sign ansu fati while selling balogun. smart as they will get a better player

we should really try for ansu fati too. even if we give buy back options or do loan with purchase options similar to how milan loan brahim diaz from madrid.

If Orban comes here, he will play enough since he would be 3rd choice in a 2 striker system. Still missing a more creative player in that case, which I want more, but yeah, if Orban costs less than Balogun, go for him. We could still get a good defensive player if we save some money.

I don't blame management. A couple of years ago Jovic was a sure thing, yet here we are. Secondly, do either suit Inzaghis tactics and/or complement Toro? Given our finances, I expect management to be as diligent as possible. We need to get this one right.

If you have the time, check-out iheanacho in a two striker setup. As I stated, he can't play as a sole striker. In a pairing I'm confident it could work alongside Toro. Especially given the alternatives. Not perfect, but he ticks all the relevant boxes, from cost, age, skillset, etc.

Biasin saying balogun will be extremely difficult. He was spot on so far with his predictions, so welcome taremi I guess...
