Are they the real deal? I dont watch bundesliga at all but their record is ridiculous. Wondering if Kane's curse followed him to Munich lol

They truly are. They play beautiful, great passing game, create a lot, score a lot., consistent, still unbeaten. They even went to Munich and got a draw which is the hardest fixture for anyone not named Gladbach They're a very entertaining side to watch and Xabi Alonso is a top coach in the making. The only worry about them is their main forward got sidelined till April and they could struggle scoring which was their main issue last year. They also created a lot but they didn't have the forward to finish their chances. They get many goals from midfield which is great but they will need Schick and Hlozek to step up in order to stay in title fight.

Bayern are far from perfect but they usually have Kane to save them and hide those weaknesses (same way Lewandowski did in the past). There won't be a repeat of last season when Bayern were dropping points left and right. If Leverkusen want to keep up with Bayern they need to be very consistent in second round.

No Guirassy no party for Stuttgart. Second consecutive loss after restart. Typical suicidal Frankfurt managed to lose a lead against botton of the table, Darmstadt. Let's see what Leverkusen can do at Leipzig in few minutes. Should be an interesting match.

Lol. Bayern managed to lose against Werder. I didn't even bother watching the match as this fixture has always been a walk in the park for Bayern. Last time Werder had beat Bayern Diego and Torsten Frings were still playing in Bremen. The fact goal came from a former Bayern youth, Mitchell Weiser, makes it even sweeter.

When I congratulated Bayern for winning the league, the ultimate loser Harry Kane was still not part of the team.

really hope Bayer finally wins it.

Bayern still wins the league, maybe not by 10 points of difference, but certainly they'll be champions in the end, as usual :D

It was only a matter of time. He was close to Salihamidzic and was involved in most Bayern signings in previous years. Ever since Max Eberl news came out everyone knew his days were numbered. It will be interesting to see where he goes next.

Schalke to be dispelled from Germany’s professional leagues

As reported by Sky Germany, relegation for Schalke this campaign would see the club fall out of Germany’s professional leagues.

Last season, the appointment of Thomas Reis saw Schalke’s fortunes drastically turn around. From a position in which they appeared certain candidates for relegation to the 2. Bundesliga in January after a demoralising 6-1 home defeat to RB Leipzig, victory at Mainz on matchday 31 saw Die Königsblauen rise to the safety of 15th.

However, a gruelling last three games saw the club return to Germany’s second tier, but as opposed to two seasons prior, this relegation gave the Schalke faithful a sense of confidence for the upcoming campaign. A positive turn-around under Reis offered the club hope that a swift return to the Bundesliga would follow.

Regardless, it has been yet another dismal six months for the Royal Blues. A 3-1 defeat away to St. Pauli on matchday seven saw Reis lose his job with Die Königsblauen lying in 16th, and since, under the stewardship of Karel Geraerts, Schalke have only moved up one position, level on points with Eintracht Braunschweig in the final automatic relegation spot.

Therefore, the club are facing relegation directly in the face, and according to the report, the club as it currently exists would be no more. Schalke do not have the financial capabilities to obtain a 3. Liga licence, meaning that direct relegation to the Regionalliga West would be probable.

For Geraerts, the next six months are vital. The second-most supported club in Germany have less than half a season left to save themselves, and the responsibility lies on his shoulders.

The players at the club will have a future beyond this season, but the fans will not be departing, and it will be them who suffer. If Schalke go down, it will undoubtedly be one of the darkest days in German football history.

Hopefully it won't come to that. It would be sad to lose Schalke, multiple times German champions and UEFA Cup winners.

Tzolis ruined his career because he bought into that PL fairytale everyone's selling.

Good to see him make history. Still early to recover and find his place, but he's not a Norwich or Fortuna calibre player. Needs to move to Italy imo. Best place for Greek players. Germany and the Netherlands are also good choices of course.
