Well Adri should start but Suazo should take part at a later stage in this one as well..

His performance in CL is one thing but he brings the quality that is essential which is speed..Insert that at a later stage and you create chaos for Livorno..

real football ain't championship manager of fifa....
because suazo has speed doesn't mean it'll work...

season has started and his "speed" hasn't done sh!t....
according to fvckwit mancini, the players in better form will be called up (or at least that was the excuse to drop adri)
then suazo should be off to sardina and it'll be ibra, crespo, adri and cruz with crespo and adri starting...

somebody made a good point that ibra knows he's gonna start all the time now so he is complacent...give him a little bench and hopefully he comes on in the 2nd half and plays well...

funny thing is, nobody knows mancini's strange decisions on lineups...
lol

We have a tough schedule ahead of us where we play two matches every week. After this we have Sampdoria at home on Wednesday and then Roma away on Sat, and four days later PSv in CL. So naturally certain players will be rested in some of these matches.

I would start all our best players in this match, to rest them completely(or give them very few minutes) against Sampdoria at home, so they would be rested for Roma and PSV.

Anyways I would play

--------------J.Cesar-----
Maicon--Cordoba--Samuel--Maxwell

----------Zanetti-Cambiasso--------
Stankovic--------------------Cesar
Ibra---------Suazo

Basicly how we played against Empoli except that I would change Toldo for Cesar and move Stankovic for Zanetti.

Time for our midfield to start performing, and also time for Suazo to score or give assists. Can't really blame him though. In all the matches he's played he's had things going against him. Player disadvantage and a backinjury vs Udinese. Poor ass midfield vs Empoli, even though he was quite good in that match with the balls he was given. And horrible midfield against Fener, so how can one expect him to score when he has no support?

But we are gradually playing better match for match(Serie A) and if he gets the service Adri did vs Catania I know he will do great.

Mancini's call-ups for Livorno clash
Saturday, 22 September 2007 17:24:43

APPIANO GENTILE - Roberto Mancini has named a 22-player squad for Sunday afternoon's Serie A match against Livorno (Stadio Armando Picchi at 15:00):

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 22 Paolo Orlandoni.

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 6 Maxwell, 13 Maicon, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 25 Walter Samuel.

Midfielders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 5 Dejan Stankovic, 7 Luis Figo, 11 Luis Jimenez, 15 Olivier Dacourt, 19 Esteban Cambiasso, 21 Santiago Solari, 30 Pelé, 31 Cesar.

Strikers: 8 Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 9 Julio Ricardo Cruz, 10 Adriano, 18 Hernan Crespo, 29 David Suazo.

What's interesting is that instead of taking the usual four, or even three forwards, Mancini takes all. I wonder what that mean? No balls to cut either Cruz or Adri? Or a different formation? Either way I'm not complaining. I probably would of done the same myself.

Lol poor Mancio he's gonna have to cut a striker out of the team on a weekly basis... Imo it should be one of Suazo or Cruz.

*Sigh* Let's cut a new transfer, who was our best player in the preseason, that cost a hell of a lot of money, that was foreign Serie A player of the year an therefore obviously has potential. Let's cut him completely out of the squad, because he hasn't scored a goal in 180 minutes, spread out over three matches.

In fact, let's bench our best player sofar in the season Ibrahimovic, who's been man of the match two times out of four, because he didn't do well against Fenerbache. Yes, let's do that. Absoltely brilliant idea!

While we're at it let's put all our underperforming players on the bench. If you have a bad match. Time to taste the bench! You play great for five matches, have one bad? Time to taste the bench!

I wish we had one of those "hand across the forehead slap" smileys so I could use it.

Already giving up on a player? Good that Mancini seem to have more faith in our players than you, or else we might have benched Zlatan after our first matches of the last season, when he was very criticised for his bad performance!

Not every player can adapt that fast to a new team.

i just love to hear XL's excuses for suazo being nothing short of piss poor so far this season....lol

will he ever be held accountable for anything??
lol

i guess whoever you like, you can make excuses for them...

edit: so why not bench suazo?? based on what he did last year or what he did in pre-season???
do you know why its called pre-season???
lol

MANCINI said that the players in form will be the players selected....like it or not...excuses or not....suazo is our worst striker right now....
i don't think it is unreasonable to drop him

although i wouldnt be shocked if mancini went with dacourt-cambiasso in the middle and put stankovic on the right because dacourt has been one of our most creative midfielders so far

Dacourt is our creative midfielder??/ Then Why the hell did we lose in Istanbul!!!??? Our midfield didn't support our strikers at all except when Mancio opted for a more offensive mid

What is so creative about Dacourt, he only tackles and that's it

I'd much rather see Roma win over Juve tbh, rather then us taking the lead. I'd like to see Juve in crisis as early as possible. Besides, two points is nothing with just four matches played. There's time to catch up to Roma.

I think just the opposite. Juve will be 0 threat for us this year. Roma were handed a very tough schedules for next months so if they succeed then there`s a big chanche they`ll get far(a scudetto chanche?) so what I want to see most are draws and defeats for them.

We need to get the sh!t together and take it all on sunday. A draw would be a disaster. Livorno 0-2 Crespo FORZA NERAZZURRI!

No, never.

The by far most excuses being made on this forum, is on Adriano's behalf, so I agree with that.

Are you trying to like, laugh and discredit my posts in that nonsensical manner? You know like you're saying something that's smart? It's not working for you.

Benching Suazo is one thing. I wouldn't mind having Crespo start, but I would think Mancini is smarter then dropping a quailty investment, from the squad because he hasn't scored in 180 minutes. In fact he'd be a ****ing moron if he did that.

MANCINI said that the players in form will be the players selected....like it or not...excuses or not....suazo is our worst striker right now....

Like it or not you're not very bright. Suazo has done better then Cruz, and about the same as Adriano. The difference is Cruz and Adri has gotten millions of chances, while Suazo is new and hasn't played much, and has to gel with the team.

I see your point. But even though I think Juve are playing like shit, and won't be a title contender. I still want them out of the running as fast as possible.

For now. What they do in the next few weeks on the Serie A calendar will tell us all we need to know about their chances.

Anyways, we should win this game handily as Livorno have been utter shit so far, but hey, this is Inter so the fark knows what's gonna happen? Let's just hope Mancio doesn't have another brain-fart and go back to the 4-4-2 which always seem to be disastrous for us. Don't really care who plays up front, as long as they put the ball in the back of the net.

Well last season we didn't have as many options as we had this year. And since I'd like to see Adri get another shot imo it should be either Suazo or Cruz to be cut from the team. I have nothing against Suazo I hope he could do well for Inter but right now he's not doing so well but I really don't care who sits on the bench as long as I see Ibra and Crespo together in attack,

"La Panter
The guys criticizing Suazo have no arguments beyond "I just don't think he is cut for Inter."

Watch the tape. I tell you that his performances have not been terrible as everyone here is making it seem.

Give the guy a chance, he is quality.
