Can someone confirm if TLN showed the Women world cup semi-final instead of Roma-Juve? They were supposed to show it at 11 am, unless they showed it in the morning.

But I just saw their fanatics show. TLN's coverage is going ridiculously bad. They should stop buying SERIEA rights, if they are gonna continue with this shit. They don't even show repeats of any matches or anything. They dont even show highlights of all the games, and dont discuss any controversial points about games. All of the hosts dont know much, except for basic stuff. Soccer Fanatics, kind of looks like "A guide to soccer for dummies". The only good thing about soccer fanatics is Gina Bucci.


BTW Hal, Women usually belong in a kitchen, in a beauty pageant, or on my bed. Where they definitely do not belong is a soccer field. If they are so interested in playing sport, then tennis is the only decent sports, where they can wear their skirts and jump and down.
In short, no one gives a crap about Women's Soccer World Cup. You should be more concerned about what India did to your glorious cricket team.

HMD, it was the Roma-Juve game at 8 am.... err 11. I recorded it and I saw no butch soccer chicks running around. That being said, our women's team is probably better than our men's.

With Australia, they're one and the same. The women are so big and hairy down there, they can just as easily play for the Men's team and no one bats an eye when they see a 6-foot tall lass with biceps and thighs the size of tree trunks. Work out the other way too as men often venture into the women's side to make them more competitive. Eventhough it wont last long. This is hurting Canadian economy. We have already seen loads of people from Windsor and Niagara area going to US to shop these days. The US investors would also wanna move out of Canada. Opposite of what it was two years ago. As much as I hate to admit it, we need our dollar to be cheaper than US dollar. Ofcourse its not our fault, that US blows billions in Iraq, while we are on a continous growth trend.
I am pertty sure, Bank of Canada, will reduce the interest rates very soon. Till then, I am gonna enjoy, and say SUCK IT UP YOU AMERICAN BIATCHES.

Hamoodles, deflation is decrease in prices of goods and services. It has nothing to do with the strength of the dollar. I understand your point though. I dont know how to explain it, but that would never happen. The increase in strength of Canadian dollar does not mean that prices of commodities would become lower. exg. a store manager still pays his workers $8/hour, and still gets his stuff and the same price, why would he bother to lower the price of products just because the Canadian $ appreciated.

Anyway the Canadian dollar became less than US once again today. We live in a fu*cked up world where we cant afford to have our currency better than us. 95% of my income comes from Pakistan, where my dad has all the US $ accounts, so appreciating Canadian dollar was a bit of bad news for me as well.
BTW, if some one is paying you SR1.25 for a Canadian dollar, then he is seriously ripping you off. I would advise you to change your currency exchanger.

Shazzy, 1.25 Riyal was the difference. One Canadian dollar used to be 2.5 Riyals, now it's 3.75, so the difference is 1.25 Riyals.

About the prices, if the US is the biggest exporter to Canada, then now it should cost less to buy their stuff. For example, I saw on TV that you can save thousands of dollars if you buy a car from the US and alot of people are doing it and the Canadian dealers are pissed!

But I get your point, if you get stuff from China etc. there shouldn't be a difference I guess.
