I thought those who defend Mourinho at least watched his games more than I did.

Not many seem to have seen Motta giving trouble to Mourinho in CL matches in Barca vs Chelsea games.

Meh.. what did I expect from people who believed Mourinho will play attacking football like Barca's.

Yea?what has this useless mancini showed?inter were eliminated from the UCL every fuckin year in the first rounds...great mancini hahaha

+ i praise mourinho because i know that he will make inter a great team, yes he hasnt done anything spectacular yet,but every coach needs 1-2 yrs to build something special.

What spectacular thing did Mancini?

I meant Mourinho hasn't showed anything spectacular compared to what Mancini showed. So Mourinho doesn't deserve any praise YET. When he shows something spectacular (like going to semis in CL), then he can be praised.

And to mournickio, Inter were eliminated in the 1st round during Mourinho so far. Mancini went two times to the 2nd round, then he went out two times in the 1st round. Get your facts right.

The fashion in which they were eliminated, who they were eliminated by....keep that in mind.

Inter put up a great fight against the former CL champs and the 2nd best club in Europe this year.

I praise him cause i know him from the past, yes till now nothing spectacular apart from a change in the club direction in something more futuristic ..like bring up youngsters etc...etc...

This year inter were eliminated by the best team which were finalist and last years winner, they still give them a tough game u remember the posts ...Previous seasons most of the teams were underdogs.Do u agree ?

We went our normally this year, in an honorable fashion..meaning there was no underperformance...that usually kills us, but this time Mou got the most potential out of our team and simply they are better

Sandro Mazzola: imo his opinion can be counted

Inter legend Sandro Mazzola believes that Diego Milito is the best signing of the transfer market so far.

Mazzola is delighted the Nerazzurri have done so well so soon with the capture of the Argentinean as well as Genoa teammate Thiago Motta.

“In my opinion Milito is the best signing,” claimed the veteran.

“He is a complete striker, really strong. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and him will form an extraordinary duo.”

“Our directors have done incredibly well so far. Considering that Jose Mourinho’s team only needed a couple of additions and they signed two champions from Genoa,” added the calcio legend.

“With Milito and Motta the quality of the squad has increased a lot. And according to the newspapers there is more to come, so let’s wait and see what happens. After all there are still two months to negotiate.”

I kinda doubt it was mourinho's choice. He wouldnt buy a player that is so injury prone. At chelsea he sold robben even if his abilities were amazing, he was injured every few weeks.Besides i think he will be more of vieira replacement than a starter

Mourinho has said himself that he wanted and got Motta. It is definitely a Mourinho signing. Would Moratti buy a player so much injury prone? He's already sweating on the prospect of buying two injury prone players ( Carvalho + Deco ) which Mourinho again wants so Moratti wants to please his coach.

Moratti bought Recoba and kept him for like 10 years. ....

So? The guy asked about whether Motta's a Moratti or Mourinho signing? I replied. Nothing to do with Recoba.

P.S Recoba when bought by Inter wasn't injury prone, he became injury prone AFTER coming to Inter. Motta is injury prone even before wearing black and blue.

I havent seen an interview mourinho to publicly state that he want motta, maybe im wrong but i havent yet.Mourinho at chelsea bought beasts like mikel and essien do u think he would go for injury prone player like motta, who knows maybe the guy overcome his knee problems.

About deco i dont want to say anything, maybe jose knows better. But carvalho is not injury prone he had an injury last year and that was it.Injury prones are samuel and chivu but not carvalho,he hardly misses games.

For example, essien of chelsea was injured for 6 months,is he injury prone? obviously not.

This season Ibra was a freak (perhaps Mourinho "improved" him.

Last season he was injured and before he was injured we lead by a nice margin.

Mou likes Motta from his time at Barca he has said it many times.

And I don't buy the whole "we went out to the 2nd best team in Europe" thing, the fact is we shouldn't of even had to play them so early!! We should of topped our group with ease, not finished 2nd to a team like Panathiniakos and almost getting beat by Anorthosis FFS. But it was only Mou's 1st season, I think we should do a lot better in the coming season, semis at least.

You have a valid point here, but let me ask you this.

Would it be so much different, if we would get Man Utd and got beaten in 1/4 instead of 1/8 ?

That much of a difference ?

It's a huge difference. Being in semis means something, being in quarter-finals means not so much. Generally if you are in semis, you have beaten at least one tough opponent. Okay, Barcelona went to semis in 2007/2008 by beating Celtic and Schalke so they got lucky but generally it is like I said. Btw, we got beaten by Man Utd in 1/16 phase.

Let alone the +3m€ bonus when reached the 1/4 phase.

1/16 .. +2,2m€
1/8 .. +2,5m€
1/4 .. +3m€
final loser .. +4m€
winner .. +7m€

I would have expected Mourinho to reach quarterfinals in the CL with Inter in his first year, and at least in his second year. But now situation has changed as we're gonna be 2nd pot team in CL because of his fuckup in the group stage when we lost crucial coefficiency points. So we probably have to beat a top club to reach the quarters.

Agreed we should have been 1st,but even 1 st we could have had to play agaist chelsea for example, hard draw. This year we gonna certainly start the UCL well from the start. Why are we 2nd pot team in CL? and who is 1st pot then?
+ playing a top club in the group stages is a good reference for us to see what the team is capable of.
