Ahh, to have the security of being a manager at RM :p...This has been speculated on before, wrt Mo to RM, but I always considered it a far fetched possibility due to the inability of a club like RM to cede that much control to any manager...Just not in their nature to leave sporting decisions to a manager

And few managers require more control than Jose, IMHO.

What are Inter fans' take on these rumours?...As an outsider I continue, though, to get the impression he has one foot out the door in Italy coupled with a lot of press & personal banter directed against the manager...What's the Inter speculation on this?

I believe he stays 90%. If he leaves now it will look like him running away. He is not the type of person that would want that.

If he goes laurent blanc will take over imho, but it won't come to that.

Is he getting any ban for the "SHHH" he did?

Udinese fans were clear morons. What did Mou do with them to whistle him out?

He made the correct answer by that sign.

Moratti: 'Mou will stay for a long time'

Inter President Massimo Moratti has rejected claims that Jose Mourinho is unhappy in Italy and insists that he will stay for a long time.

Mourinho has made no secret of his love for the Premier League and there has been plenty of speculation that he may return to England in the summer.

Real Madrid are also interested as the pressure continues to mount on Manuel Pellegrini despite a decent first season in charge at the Santiago Bernabeu.

“In Udine we played a fantastic first half,” Moratti explained.

“Mourinho is a great professional. He is a pedantic, serious person who loves work and sacrifice: he also has an important salary, but he has deserved it.”

Asked to reveal what Mourinho will do at the end of the season, Moratti said: “He still has a three or four-year contract. I believe that there is no other route for him but Inter. Then we'll try to win and renew our relationship.”

As for the club's No 1 objective - the Champions League - Moratti added: “It also takes luck to win it. But it's too important for us to make this jump.

“It's the merit of the team and also the club,” he concluded.

I knew Mou has a contract till 2012. So i dont undertsand the bolded part of the article.

It's totally useless from Moratti to tell how long contract Mourinho has. We all know there's that two-way release clause in that contract so the length of the contract doesn't mean much.

That release clause is pretty useless too, if Mou wanted to rescind the contract he would have to pay about 7-8 mill according to that release clause, which is pretty much what most coaches have to pay if they really want to leave, and any coach can leave at any moment.
So yeah, it's still up to the coach's feeling, but IMO what Moratti was trying to say is that he has a contract which he will respect.
Any coach has the right to rescind their contract at anytime they want for an amount of money, no one can stop them.

But do you think Mourinho have to pay that by himself if there is Madrid/Man Utd/Man City/you name it getting him signed after the resigning? If something boils over, Mourinho is gone no matter what kind of contract he has.

Yeah you are right about that, their contracts are not like with players. But to repeat that same shit is useless. Why not just shut the fuck up with it, no matter how hard the reporters ask? Completely ignore that matter in interviews.

I think they have a great relationship, and I don't expect Mourinho to disrespect his contract. He kept saying that he will respect it, and I'm sure he will ;).

you guys get riled up so often...
do you not realize that everytime we win, especially when all the chips are down and we should lose, the media comes up with:

(1) Jose is leaving for england or spain
(2) Various italian coaches/ex-coaches/public figures dissing Jose
(3) Mario doing/saying something

happens all the time and it amazes me that the inter 'fans' get riled up all the time..

he's just probably saying that the media tries to stir up some issues to make our team disrupted.
You never see anything like this against Meelan.

And the rumor of Mou's leaving is one of the issues. If our players, coach or management clarify all issues.. They will get distracted so much.
So they need to do it just on very important occasions

if juve were to win the europa league, and inter won the champions league, juve would be praised in the papers and on the internet 100000000000 times more then inter. we will never have respect from the media and we need to realize when they are just trying to stir up problems

if we win CL, we will get stronger, and if we can not get respect from Italy..
the rest of Europe will respect us..
and This is why winning CL is more important for us that any other team in italy.

Hopefully????..

Mourinho earns a fuckload as it is... He shouldn't be earning what he is now let alone an extra 2million euros per year.

That's your opinion. Moratti a few days ago basicly said mou is worth every penny he pays him.

Personally I agree with mm. I believe the side is showing some real growth this season under mou. He did take his time adjusting to italy and the inter environment in his first season but this season the team and structure has shown real promise. I also like the players we are being linked to and buy a lot of promising youngsters.

Well, we can argue about the ridiculous current salary, but no one can argue that the pay raise to THAT would be justified.
