I never wanna see Chivu start a game at Lb again. What coaches see in him, I have no idea. He's a bloody disaster. As shite as Santon has been, at least he has an excuse being so young. What's Chivu's excuse? And let's stay away from the 4-3-1-2. Our midfielders are way too static and slow and all the opponent has to do is pack the midfield themselves. We need width or this team sucks. I'm rapidly losing faith in Milito. He's a shadow of his former self.

Anyways good but a bit of a lucky win. The first 60 minutes of this game were appalling from an Inter point of view. Cast was great in goal and also my MotM.

Some might say Chivu is originally a CB and not a LB beside the age factor. Personally, I think he's past his best whether being played as a LB or CB although better in center.

Sneijder might be available again next week but Cou is gonna be out longer as no targeted date of his return has been mentioned.

Nah, I'm way too old for the zing party. Let the kids have their fun.

I feel pity for you too, its mutual, let me tell you what you want to hear. Luka you were right all the time, everyone else here doesnt know shit.

Thanks.
Lol

You do feel pity for me ? I thought, I make you laugh :]

And what I want to hear, is more inteligent posts like the ones from Rain, Toninu, Adnan, Hamm, Khaled, FR, CCCP, Principe, Lion, Pajo (those guys "know shit" on many occasions, and this is me speaking, not your invented "Luka" speaking) and many others, not some bullshit things spread by you about me which you do sistematicly for some time now. I see finaly you're showing your true collors. Better late then never.

But I will even go further, and offer you the same deal the "ZING" guy will get. Seeing how I feel some attitude growing against me lately. How bout we just put ourselves on ignore huh ? That way you won't have to read my "stupid" posts, me "loving" Benitez, and all other invented things that you think I say (but I don't), and I won't have to listen to all this crap. Seems, like a fair deal.

I'm willing to do this in a sec. Done ?

But you still have time to write novels of your "opinions".. Cuchu scores 2 and what surprise "I told you so" comes in ringing again.. Damn man you sure honor the defenition of a stubborn pseudo intellectual high. Alot of talk with empty words

Anyhow do whatever you please..
I see we have Blackmore_2 on the boards. How many times did you do it now in past couple weeks. 5, 10 times ? I lost count.

What the hell are you even arguing against ? Did you even cared to check what I was discussing with Cafe before, or you just wanted to mimick the "ZING" guy and just throw some random shit ?!!

Well it took some time, but Cafe now understands what I was saying (plus for him). How much time it will take you. 5, 10 years ? I'm curious. Or maybe you just want to throw more of your random shit ?

really.....

YOU CANNOT COMPARE LAZIO GAME TO THIS ONE!!

AND YOU CANNOT COMPARE LEOS AND RAFAS IDEOLOGY..TOTALLY DIFFERENT

You're clueless. Absolutely clueless.

You have no idea what was my position before on the topic I was discussing, what my discussion with Cafe was about, and you have no idea what was our discussion after Lazio game about. You have no idea. None.

blackmore and Luka, you guys are senior members of the forum.

If you have a beef with each other, take it elsewhere man, you should know better that we are not interested. Thanks.
Han, why I have to be put in the same box, and suffer just because of stupidity of somebody else ? I didn't start this off-top Han. Go and check. And it's not my purpose to continue this beef, or even start it. First he makes some ridiculous accusations, and then he can't even stay on the topic nor back his claim up with anything. He doesn't even know what he is arguing about anymore. He is just throwing some random words.

If you want to stop "our" arguments, tell him to stop harass people. But I'll tell you this man: If he will put me on ignore list, I'll be more than glad to put him there as well. No problem. That way we both will skip eachothers posts, and no more "beefs", no more arguments where he throws some random shit, and me trying to stay on the topic, or try to understand his twisted logic.

I think that's a great deal. I have no interest in reading his BS, and apparently he doesn't like my posts either. So there should be no problem. Everybody wins :)

But I already know, he won't go for this deal. Why ? Because it's him who starts those clueless discussions, on only God knows what topic. Because he likes to harass people too much. He likes to write those hilarious "ZING" posts too much. That's why.

Just watch.

So how is it "ZING" guy ? Deal ??

Heck . I will even go "crazy", hey, why not , and offer the same deal to the second sidekick, or the "master of sidekicks" or whatever, if he is reading (I know he is), and we can arrange the same deal. No problem. What do you say N4L ? Interested ?

If we can compare this game to any game we can compare it to the Palermo game, we turned the score around but we risked a lot and were lucky as Palermo missed some sitters.

You can watch a replay of the entire game here:

http://espn.go.com/espn3/index/_/sport/soccer-futbol

Just click on the replay tab next to the upcoming tab which is the one it goes to.

Man was that a game... it was our season in a nutshell really. We came out flat, and really had no ideas going forward. Stankovic played behind the strikers so Motta wasn't really involved in any build up play. Eventually we started controlling possession towards the end of the first half, but really couldn't do much as our lack of pace and creativity killed off any chances of getting a sight on goal. This was highly reminiscent of our first game this season away to Bologna. The 4-3-1-2 works when we can control the middle and it showed once again today.

The second half starts, and Leonardo drops Stankovic into Cambiasso's role as the deep mid, shifts Cambi to left defensive mid where Motta was playing, and puts Motta further forward. That was something I thought he should have done from the beginning, but he didn't want to possibly get caught on the break as Stankovic isn't great defensively. Sure enough Catania start to create chances, particularly Martinho who I thought was impressive when he came on for them. A corner goes in and after a mad scramble and a decent goal line clearance by Deki the ball falls to Gomez who follows up and just blasts it into the back of the net inside the six.

All looked lost, and we looked to be back at square one.. but the squad didn't give in. The introduction of Pandev for Chivu earlier 10 minutes earlier gave some much needed fluidity and penetration to our game which opened up the channels. Eventually Deki got the ball further forward and threaded a perfect ball to Cucho who slots the goalkeeper. It was a perfect goal, and once again Stankovic is proving that he can be a difference maker when need be.

Four minutes later, after a decent amount of build up play Maicon gets the ball on the far right hand side and hits it one time with the outside of his right foot as he cuts in. The curling ball finds Milito and Cambiasso totally unmarked, the latter of which scores a perfect downward header. The passion was really there to be seen on everyone's face, especially Leonardo and Cambiasso. I really hope Esteban gets the much rumored captaincy after Zanetti retires, because he is and has become the new face of Inter over the past 4 seasons. We subbed in Mariga for Motta, and Ranocchia for Milito in the last couple of minutes. They didn't face any problems, and we kept possession the way we needed to.

A great victory, from a team that has now shown they can rebound in tough situations, a trait we had all last season. We are now 11 points behind Bilan in the title race, but with 2 games in hand. If we somehow manage to win both, we will lie 2nd and 5 points behind.. something none of us could have seen coming after December began.

I still have faith in this team, like I have said all along.. and we continue to push on even though we have hit a couple of problems thus far.

FORZA NERAZURRI!!!!!!

BWAhahahaha....

luka..i have here an idea put all the people who disagree with you on "ignore list". that way you will only be talking to 6 ppl that you mentioned above on this board. now you have a go at this delaurentis guy just because he has a difference in opinion. this is a forum where ppl will always have different opinions and thoughts, its how you back them up that count.

but like suneet already said, you must be the right one, and maybe everyone else around here is full of shit?

I would love for Cuchu to be the new captain but I see Cordoba and Deki as taking the armband if they're still on the squad (hopefully not) when Pupi retires

Cordoba and Deki won't be starters by the time Zanetti retires, Cordoba's hardly a starter now. they won't be capitain.

Amazing that this team has some heart. Strong 2nd half, and it's nice to see a manager who cares about winning. Good going Inter, keep fighting.

SE SALTELLI....
Turnaround Cambiasso
Inter comeback and we believe

A Catania goes by one goal by Gomez, playing badly for over an hour, then reverse everything in five minutes with a decisive brace Argentina, served by a first filtering Stankovic, then by a cross of external Maicon . Less than eleven by Milan with two games less

LONDON, January 9, 2011 - When Inter is under 1-0 with Catania, Leonardo is the right weapon to motivate his new players. Anyone who steps from his area of San Siro announced the result at which point Udinese 3-1 lead over Milan. Maybe it's a coincidence, but the news has a powerful effect: the Inter limelight in five minutes (eight by the advantage of Gomez) Catania's match, played up to that point this lily. Cambiasso is the killer, Stankovic and Maicon's head, arm and foot, Giampaolo that victory is already looking forward disconsolate. Two to one for Inter, two wins in three days for the new Inter coach, two more goals from midfield. The defeat was undeserved for Sicilians, but the run after Inter win like that is more credible as possible.
0LERK1JA--300x145.jpg
Cambiasso and Leonardo. Handleturnaround - After the first time to nap after lunch, with the two teams that do not bind the goalkeepers ever opponents, the recovery starts with a different rhythm: it is still in the Catania to see things better, with Maxi Lopez who repeatedly test reflexes of Castellazzi. The doorman pass the exam up to 26 'shooting, just when the blond Argentine recycles a ball into the area and turned it into a shot past goalkeeper, but Stankovic, rejecting sula line. But the ball ends up on the feet of Alejandro "Papu" Gomez, who throws in the door. The goal seems to blow the wait for a whole that suffers the Sicilians, but acts as an alarm clock. Everything else to Cambiasso scored twice, but also his third goal in two games for Leonardo. All in five minutes at 29 'Stankovic fishing well with the ball, he controls and right beats Andujar, then at 35' a beautiful cross from Maicon's right outside the precise location of the turning head at the far post. Two to one, the race turned on its head.
0LERJ4CL--300x145.jpg
Diego Milito. LaPressemidfielders in goals - the "second" part of Leonardo with the same basic idea of the debut (4-3-1-2, with Stankovic behind the two strikers) and Eto'o in the most in the engine. Samuel often plays wide on the left, left alone with Milito in the middle of the area. On the band consistently falls Maicon: Leo management has revived the band in collaboration between the Brazilian and Zanetti, Inter captain with covering the slopes of Maicon, as happened last year. In midfield, this time does not seem to work too insertions Stankovic and Thiago Motta, including the presence of carbon in front of the defense. For over an hour the team does not build virtually anything, then the two flashes of Cambiasso, and a couple of conclusions Milito, shows that the whole word yet offend. First goals Leonardo tries to enter Pandev and propose a sort of 4-2-3-1: to be better before, because someone Milito is the closest thing to talk to. The two goals from Cambiasso, then, leads to five goals in two games of the midfield with the new coach: with Benitez had been expected for months, unsuccessfully, a goal from midfield. Positive signs, like the three points from a match played only so-so.
0LERIZMA--300x145.jpg
Alejandro Gomez. Eparegrets catania - The other side of the coin is struck dumb Massimino: Catania did not deserve to lose, after the goal by Gomez savored the victory, was content with first-time opponents, sin only in the final phase. Maxi Lopez has been so good at what precise in building the shots hit the goalkeeper, midfielders were too fast to conclude. Up to one-two Cambiasso's defense was by applause: well to contain Alvarez Eto'o, timely Silvestre (except cover 1-1) and Bellusci. Alejandro Gomez was awarded the goal for a great performance in the two phases, with folds in and starts dribbling. Zero points, so many regrets, and the impression of having met with Inter at the wrong time.

THE C FACTOR

Cambiasso and a Scudetto comeback.
Leo's Inter won again. Erased the lead of Catania with a brace of the midfielder who has three goals in two games. Now Moratti goes for Sanchez...

2344d2acd20823111294650.jpg

COMEBACK INTER

Cambiasso turns things about in five minutes.
Catania took the lead. Leo redesigned the team and came out of the dark. But they must also thank Castellazzi.

Catania - Halfway through the second half, Leonardo decided that it is time to dress up like Mourinho. The Brazilian coach replaces Chivu for Pandev. A defender for a striker. The tactical scheme, from that point on, changed from an ordinary and boring 4-3-1-2 to a much more courageous 4-1-4-1. A typical electric shock from the Special One. The Inter team took a few minutes to change the clothes entirely. Catania took the lead with Gomez. But this time, Stankovic and his teammates did not collapse. Indeed, in the most delicate moment, the spirit of the treble winning Inter was found. So, ball in the center and everybody went forward. In just five minutes, Inter have changed the history of this game and perhaps even this championship. Cambiasso, one of the protagonists against Napoli, became a hero. Taking a shot to the right side of goalkeeper Andajar then scoring his second by heading in the ball coming from a Maicon's cross. Two goals like from a real goal scoring machine. And once again at the end, Leonardo returned to copy Mourinho: Milito out and Ranocchia in. A striker for a defender. Because the secret is never trivial. Inter won a crucial victory (the last victory away from home dated back to October 29, 2010) and they are now 11 points behind Milan. With two games in hand though. The race has begun. And this Inter with the face of Leonardo but with the ideas of Mourinho can win the Scudetto again.

A great Castellazzi Let us be clear, the new Inter coach still has a lot of work to be done. Just imagine that in the ranking of the best players on the field after Cambiasso was Castellazzi. Stuttering in the past but this time he was decisive. The vice Julio Cesar made several great saves on the wild Maxi Lopez and with that, away at this moment, is the ghost of Viviano. But the exploits of Castellazzi evidence of an Inter that have yet recovered the strength of its defense. The absence of Samuel is a valid mitigating factor. But not only that. Leonardo has to work a lot more on asking for more attention from the defensive midfielders and maybe thinking about launching Ranocchia full time. One of the great talents of Italian football. And, speaking of room for improvement, Inter also have to find the clarity in front of goal for Milito. The Argentine striker seems to have lost the killer instinct in the goal area.

Cambiasso and Maicon Leonardo has already won a few battles of his own. He has found a good Maicon on the right side, the lucidity of Thiago Motta in the midfield and he seems to have rejuvenated the two old warriors such as Cambiasso and Stankovic. The rest will come with the return of Sneijder, perhaps with a signing on the market and with a better overall physical condition. This Inter, who have been working hard, maybe too hard, must now find brilliance. In short, a comparison could be made like from form a diesel engine to a turbo-diesel engine.

Disappointment Catania Giampaolo's team was perfect until the goal of Gomez. By forcing the match with a rhythm of a hundred miles per hour. Another fault, if cone can speak of guilt, is not to have materialized the opportunities that Maxi Lopez had gotten for the team. Then, after the lead, the same Giampaolo was not able to respond immediately to the "provocation" of Leonardo-Mourinho's tactics. So Catania collected a second defeat in just four days. It is not really alarming yet because the Sicilian team demonstrated qualities against the Nerazzurri. But this Inter team had an ally this time around, the spirit of Mourinho.
